xda 2i imate radio rom upgrade

Please can anyone tell me how to upgrade the radio rom, to the imate version, on my xda2i.I have already upgraded to the latest version roms from O2 website, but i want to update the radio rom only to a more stable version.I am a newby so please provide a step by step guide. :?

Many thanks for the response,however I probably did not explain properly.Is it possible to upgrade just the radio section not the complete rom upgrade,and how :!:

You could try downloading the update but deleting the .nbf files you don't want to update leaving just the RADIO_.nbf.
Don't know if it would work but you never know.

XDA IIi UK to Imate pda2 uk ROM?

Hi, Does anyone know where I can download the latest ROM for my XDA IIi uk to the latest Imate PDA2 ROM? I have heard that this is better than the 02 ROM? Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?

Thread move to Alpine from UPgrade, mod, unlock.
Try the I-mate ftp site.
For this follow the wiki link for the BlueAngel, go to the avlible roms page, at the bottom is a link for the ftp site of I-mate.

Update to the newer O2 ROM but use Pugs update version as this includes the newer Radio ROM version too

Read right through it though theres 4 pages,
This upgrade will error the first time you try, but it works on the second time.

Many thanks for all your advice. I am going to stick with the modified 02 upgrade, it seems the general feeling is this option.

I was given an I mate PH10B PPC Phone.
Darn thing has a beta OS on it. I see the link for Imates FTP site but I have no clue what files to download. I have nothing critical on this PPC so data is a non issue.
Im a total newbe all I know so far is the OS is a ROM and I can put the device in serial/usb mode. Thats all I know so far.

Latest WWE 818pro on JAMin
The latest Dopod 818 Pro ROM downloaded from this site improves the issue with screen alignment on my JAMin. I still see the problem but it's not as bad as with I-mate's ROM. I hope the next upgrade coming from either I-mate or Dopod will finally solve this problem.

Imate JAMin downgrade WM6 to WM5

HI,
I had spent lot of time searching for WM6 ROM for my imate ,while doing that I came across Qtek ROM namedas WM6 . After installing i came to know that it was a WM5 rom named as WM6. But i didnt gave up and after searching XDA i got actual WM6 rom and I uploaded it. The Version details of WM6 are :
ROM version 4.0.0.0 WWE
ROM Date 2/15/07
Radio Cersion 02.47.21
Protocol Version 4.1.13.24
Ext ROM version 4.0.0.0.3 PDAViet
But now i want to downgrade back to Imate WM5 original ROM. Kindly help me getting that done.

i have a JaMin 2 and i wasn't able to downgrade to the original I-mate Rom but u can downgrade to the NoID WM5 which is better than I-mate Rom

Thanks for such a quick reply. Also i would like to know what are the steps to be folowed whiles downgrading. I mean do i run NoID ROM first and then execute Enterbootloader.exe and then Romupdate utility for my G4. Kindly excuse if u find my questions silly, since i have not much knowledge into all this and i am only being concerned about my Imate.

I have the same problem...I cannot hear anything or any body can not hear me...But the thing is that the speaker does play the ringtone when sombody is calling me so the speaker is ok...PLz help..

i also face the same problem, my rom is WM6 fantastic b4, but after few times hard reset and soft reset and leave it for overnight all back to normal again... sometimes still cannot hear the caller voice.. i just soft reset again..... still no permanent solution yet...
one of the senior member suggested to re flash the ROM... but i'm still not sure how to do it

WM6 to WM5

Hi, I have an HTC P4350 with WM6, ROM version 4.17.405.2 WWE, I need to downgrade to WM5. What i dont know is if this device came originally with WM5 or WM6, but what I need is to downgrade it.
Can anyone help me?

if it's a stock HTC device (or basically, not a tmobile wing) it came with wm5.
look for the RUU for your device. and flash it

Find a stock rom. flash it. It will take the device to wm5.
