I have Re-flashed my Qtek with new Radio 1.12.10, but unfortunately I erased my backup of ext ROM. Since I use BigStorage ROM, there is no way I can easily restore Ext RoM.
Can somebody upload to ftp or give a link to a newest Qtek Ext Rom WWE?

I've combined the new radio ROM 1.17
(you can download here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/download.php?id=1374) and the italian ext and CE rom and now I can receive and trasmit faxes without any problem...
KSE Truefax is a good software (a little bit expensive but very good!)

I've tried many kinds of roms: 1.60, 166, 172, WWE. ENG, I-mate... without any success... some times working.. sometime no...
I've discovered that the problem is the version of Radio ROM.
At last I've download the new radio rom 1.17, i've combined:
1.72.04 ITA CE ROM
1.17 WWE Radio ROM
1.72.128 ITA ext ROM
I've changed the language of the radio ROM with ER2003Edit (you can download here http://wiki.xda-developers.com/wiki/ER2003Edit )
and i've upgrade my Qtek2020...

P.S the downloaded file is a archeive .rar you have to extract the radio_.nbf file. You must upgrade the CE Rom and the Radio rom toghether. you can avoid to upgrade the ext Rom (to save your time)

Of course... you have to call your provider (Movistar?) to get you a fax number on your SIM.

Search the forum. It has been discussed plenty.
The Extended ROM is a special part of the ROM, that is used of the providers to add their own and additonal files, that have to be installed on the first use of this device. It only have Programs and Reg-Settings in it. Afetr the installtion of this programs, the Memory Part of the extended ROM is useless for the device. You can't access the extended ROM and you can not save data on this memory....
Therefore the bigStorage hack is used to free this memory-part.

So... I'm Italian and I buoght my Jam with std Italian ROM.
I like to have Engl leanguage on all my devices so I hack the Country ID and I installed the WWE ROM.
It works fine but I lost some of Italian configuration and some applications (e.g. eTrust antivirus)...
I think that these applications are contained on Italian Extended ROM... is it right?
If is it right... can I install the Italian extended ROM in the WWE ROM?
Or... can I extract the eTRust antivirus and install it on my WWE ROM?
Yes, you should be able to install the programs of the italian extended ROM on the WWE ROM. Since most of the tools are os independet it should be no big problem.
The QtekS100_ITA_1.03.151 ExtRom is on the FTP. If your version was newer or anything else, than you have to get the files by yourself.....

Yes, there is. You need to install some of the CAB files from the EXT ROM to actitvate (or at least to have the shortcut). Did you skip the EXT ROM installation?
