Hi,
I used BluetoothGPS to make my PDA connected with my PC.
I can sync, access LAN,... with BluetoothGPS on 1.72
But BluetoothGPS can't run on W2k5.
I wonder if there is a solution for Bluetooth solution for W2k5

Hi All,
Before running the upgraded ROM, to enable ActiveSync via Bluetooth, I had to download and install a Bluetooth file from a site I can't remember now. After the upgrade I can't use ActiveSync via Bluetooth and am not sure whether I need to reinstall the same Bluetooth stuff as before as I thought the ROM had Bluetooth fixes in it for ActiveSync etc.
Has anybody else been able to connect via Bluetooth after the upgrade with no other files being installed ?
Thanks,
Rob.
yes i use activesync via bluetooth at work and home using the new rom and installing no other software.
It was a pain getting it to work, and what i did in the end was delete all parterships in activesync and start again from stratch, that worked for me.
This is what i did:
I couldnt get my XDA2 to access the net via BT active synch until i went into start / settings / system / bluetooth settings / bluetooth active synch setup.
It then asks you to bond the XDA2 with your pc ( if its already bonded, delete it ) once done, you then click yes to let the XDA2 use the pc's serial port, do the same on the pc, and connect via BT as normal.
Works great !
I have had this problem;
I previously successfully connected to my work PC with activesync 4.0 over bluetooth & my XDA II running WM2003, now having upgraded to WM2005 I am unable to re-establish an activesync connection via Bluetooth.
The PC is running XP SP1 with a TDK Bluetooth dongle & it's associated drivers (This is known to be setup correctly with other bluetooth connectivity having no problems)
I have tried using the "Geekzone" activesync over bluetooth step through, but I believe this is written for earlier versions of both activesync & Windows Mobile OS.
Would somebody who has successfully achieved an activesync connection via bluetooth post how to set up thanks.

Hi, all.
I can't connect Qtek (neither 9000 nor 110) to Notebook via irda (win xp).
I run wmodem on Qtek as it's described in manual, and choose emulate wireless modem via irda, but windows doesn't recognise it as irda modem. It connects, but offer file transfer only.
I tried to setup modem manually on windows first - but which port should i select? It doesn't cleary mentioned in manual... In other words - who successfully connected Qtek with PC via irda, please tell me how.
Thanks.
P.s. Notebook easily recoginzes and installs Samsung mobile phone via IRDA and works perfectly. And Qtek connects as USB modem fine also.
Does anybody successfully used Qtek as GPRS modem via irda?
I have a Blackstone there are one month, i tried many times to synchronize my outlook data via Bluetooth (Win Vista) but always no connection obtained. sync can done only using USB. also files transfere from PC to Blackstone pass without any problem.
anyone can help me?
I am having the same difficulty, I am fine using activesync via USB and set up the bluetooth apparently but they cannot "see" each other on bluetooth. a walkthrough on the GRemote website (http://gbmsoftware.com/index.php?op...e&id=17:bluetooth-howto&catid=3:faq&Itemid=14) says "Then you should download and run WM6BTPAN.exe on your device."
I have limted knowledge and have only ever used .cab files to run on my device. is this file unsuitable? It's an .exe inside a .zip, niether of which works on my phone.
Hi all!
I've tryed to send a file from my pc to Wildfire and it's ok.
Then I've tryed to send file from Wildfire to my pc runnign Vista and it's ok (Have I always use the Bluetooth send/receive wizard? Can I enable automatic receive fiels from paired device?)
Well! What I'm looking for now it's a simple way to browse my Wildfire from pc (using standard windows explorer) via bluetooth. Any idea?
What's exactly the option "Enable FTP Server" in Bletooth advanced option?
Thanks!
