Can someone tell me why I set a wave file as sms ringtone and when I receive a sms it just doesn´t ring!! Tired of not ringing I changed to the ringtone called Alarm1 that come with the OS but it still not rings... I don´t know what to do anymore... I´m using WM2003SE

Have you saved the WAV file as a Microsoft compliant file? There are a lot of WAV formats like PCM and all this other stuff. Please try to check the source or open it up in Wav Recorder in Windows and save it in a local format.
Yes, it is Microsoft compliant. And sometimes just after I choose the ringtone it plays but then won´t play again :roll:
Try changing the sample rate to 22K 8bit mono.

if it is try updating you radio rom to 1.17 i think its the most stable and trouble free rom

Just received the Imate Jam, it came with Windows media 10 which I know a lot of people want for some reason. If someone cares to explain how to rip my rom, I'll glaldly try it.

If there is a cab file in the extend_rom. Called wmp10 or somting copie en past it in windows. And upload it too the forum. INstructions on unlocking the extended rom you can find in this forum.

WMP 10 is part of the ROM and not of the Extended_Rom on the i-Mate JAM. It is available in all current ROMS that can be downloaded from www.clubimate.com

Not much difference from WMP9, although i believe the library has improved and what is definetly new over WMP9 is the ability to show Album fronts. This was not possible in previous WMP versions.

Hi all! I've just flashed to Syrius r4 and (I've searched the threads already with no luck) and I can't get iGo 8 OR 6 to work on my Polaris :*(! Also, when I play polyphonic ringtones they sound like monophonic ones. I have radio version 1.59.42.23 on my phone and protocol version 25.85.30.07H. Thanks in advance for the help!
Since I unlock my Polaris and I was put in them a new radio, I had problems with ActiveSync and Outlook, after a hard reset. ActiveSync don*t create a folder with my device name, first. Second, PC Outlook don*t function, and third, my Polaris agenda give me some errors. Sometimes ActiveSync don*t connect with my phone.

I think with official ROM u can only use Radio ver. 1.58 or 1.64...
I use radio rom 1.59.46.12 with official 6.1 rom 3.19.831.3 WWE and both run very smoothly. Improved active sync. connectivity, HTC weather updates quicker etc, etc.....can recommend you both rom's.
My ROM version is 3.13.405.0 WWE. Where I find an improved version, please?

With 3.13.405.0 WWE ROM & 1.59.46.12 Radio I hear a buzzy sound when I talk with my Polaris. In time, this buzzy which accompany the words increase. I changed the radio version with 1.59.44.02, but problems are the same. The speaker is ok, because when I minimize the volume the buzzy sounds are there. Any ideas, please?
