I've just screwed up my iPDA's radio stack by upgrading it to 4.21.00 (O2 upgrade). :?
I really need someone to help me getting out of this mess! Does anyone owns a Bouygues iPDA with the original radio stack ROM and who can gently pass it on?

You got problem with the 4.21.00 O2 upgrade ?
Why would you re-flash your XDA with the old originial Bouygues rom ?
Rather put a kitchened Rom from Jeff site (a WM2003 based rom or a 3.17.03 based rom as well)
It works great on my Bouygues Ipda ...

Yes I got a problem with the 4.21.00 RSU... I don't any signal at all...
My previous Radio version had a weird numering: R3... something instead of the usual "4.xx.xx"... Do you think there could be several hardware design of the iPDA?
By the way if someone has the original Bouygues RSU, please let me know!

You know what...
I found the solution to my problem by myself...!
For those who encountered the same issue:
1. Bootload the PDA (hold "On/Off" button and soft reset)
2. Enter the GSM module test menu by pushing the Calendar button
3. In the menu, select this sequence:
- GSM TURN ON
- GSM RESET
- GSM 900 / 1800
In fact the RSU upgrade will kind of resetup the GSM module (or turn it off), which is apparently not suitable for the French network. So one has to set the GSM module with the right parameters...
I guess this is applicable to other countries as well.

Hey in the menu I noticed options "GSM 1900" along with "GSM 900" and "GSM 1800"... Do you think the XDA is actually TRI-BAND?

Well pleased for you if it works.
Personnally I put a WM2003 4.00.05 rom and it works well.
I also saved the original rom form bouygue if needed (but it is really a too old rom)

How can i update the pocket pc 2002 to pocket pc 2003

Hello
i have a xda 1 from o2 (germany) Rom version 3.19.01 GER, Rom-Date 05/27/03, Radio Version 4.21.00 and protokoll-version 32S54. The xda has windows pocket pc 2002 and i want to update it to windows pocket pc 2003.
Can someone explains me step by step how can i update this xda?
Another question: I have install a navigation software Destinator PN on it, i bought an external GPS with cable, but the Navi software doesn´t find the GPS. It said all the time "GPS not found". Maybe someone has an idee how i can slove this problem.

Hello Baleso.
You find new ROM Versions here:

or you can create your own ROM here:

Best procedure is doing a hard reset, reconenct your device via active sync and run the exe-file.....
Concerning your Problem with your GPS:
You have to disable beam to free the port for connecting the gps receiver....

There is a icon for it in the system settings....

Thanks Stefan, it´s working and i can use my xda now as Navi.
One question: it is possible to upgrade my actuel ROM 3.19.01 GER with a english ROM 4.01.12 (O2 Euro) without damage my xda? My question seem to be stupid but i muss ask it, because i don´t know and i don´t want to damage my xda.

Help Needed In Using Bluetooth !!!

I HAVE IMATE PDA2,
BUT AS COMPARE TO OTHER PDA's THERE IS LESS OPTIONS IN BLUETOOTH WIZARD. LIKE THERE IS NO OPTION "PARTNER WITH A CELL PHONE" & CAUSE OF THIS MISSING OPTION IM UNABLE TO USE SOME USEFULL SOFTWARES LIKE "INDOVISI SMS", "SIMPLE SMS" ETC ..
IS THERE ANY EASY UPGRADE TO PUT THIS OPTION INTO IMATE PDA2 OR SHOULD I BUY JASJAR ... NO WINDOWS 2005 NOTHING FOR ALPINE , OTHER DEVICES ARE GOOD... HONESTLY SPEAKING ...

[Help] Cant run DrYAR Bluetooth v1.6 on atom AKU3.3.3

On my original Atom black version with wm5 can use DrYAR Bluetooth v1.6
but after i flash my o2 atom black to AKU3.3.3 cant use DrYAR Bluetooth v1.6, if use will effect ur bluetooth cant receive any thing.
i need a software to see when bluetooth send file got show process bar...

Pocket PC Cingular 8525

Please, I have a Pocket PC Cingular 8525 (Hermes 100, WM6.1) I can connect to the network through the WiFi, but I can not connect to the Internet (not navigation) . Computer cable, it connects well. Would you advise me how to configure. Thank you

Try installing the "Connection Setup" application. Under Morocco, I see:
- Maroc Telecom
- Meditel
- Telecom
Maybe this helps?

Also update your rom! I suggest CRC v13; it has the Connection Setup app bundled.

thanx for your opinion but can you give me the for setting up this ROM (CRC v13).

I installed CRC 13 in English, is there a patch for the French?

Tai_Sw Has a French Language Rom btw.
