Can anyone enlighten me about the 1GB SD Cards (Kingston/Lexar especially) are compatible with Wallaby - QTEK 1010 with Windows Mobile 2003 SE loaded on it? Any opinions? I was not able to solid information about these much memories on Wallaby devices.

I am currently using 1 GB SD card SanDisk, its going prefect with my Wallaby device & WM2003SE ROM on it! No any problems, dude 8)

What type of memory card is better to use with a magician: SD or miniSD?
Is different if I have 10A or 10B?
I've read in other thread that for using 2gb is needed to mod hardware: also if I use mini sd with adapter? The problem is only the thickness of the card?
What brand? I haven't found a page about compatibility.
There is really differences among memory declared speeds?

Never heard about a hardwaremodification for SD. I'm using a 4 GB no-name SD without troubles. Before I used a 1 GB Sandisk mini SD with adapter. It's the same thickness, no problems.
Best would be to go to a dealer where you can try them out to see if it works, or to order at A*a*on some different types and send back the ones which do not work.
AFAIK there's no compatibility list available as it's depending on your Magician if it works or not and you'll find loads of info with the search function about this topic.

I have an O2 xda-mini.
I wish to buy a 2gb (or more) mini-sd card with adapter, but htc tells that the maximum expandibility for ppc using win 2003 is 1gb.

I have a UK Orange SPV MV700 phone. The ROM is the original factory one of 1.23.61.5. The GPS is working and is running WM5 with no problems so far. i would like to get a 4gb SD mini card for it. Can someone tell me if the new SDHC 4gb cards will work with this ROM version? I do not want to upgrade the ROM is possible. Is there a patch which will make these cards work?

Can't help you with 4GB SDHC (i think HW can't handle it), but i have a spv m500 with a 4GB SD card !
This is not an easy to find card, but trancend still sells them.

Not to expensive and plug it in and it works !
Not with all (old) SD interfaces, but with the spv m500 (and magician) it does !!!

hi all , I want upgrade via rom SD card , but now my XDA cant work to WM OS . it only work with Bootloader because fail while i upgrade(It not full write to SD when i used XDAtools for upgrade) . So anybody help for this. who have software to write ROM to SDcard by card reader or rom upgrade for XDA that used only bootloader not ActiveSyn because XDATool requested ActiveSyn for work but now my Device can use only bootloader.

You need to be under bootloader to flash from SD card. There are detailed instructions on how to do this in the Wiki. Good luck!
