HOW about O2-ROM version: 3.20.06 ENG with Kitchen ROM 4.00.

How about this O2-ROM version: 3.20.06 ENG with ROM Kitchen version 4.00.16

Not sure what you mean, but I intend to stick the 3.20 ROM in the kitchen as soon as I have some time...

3.20 is the last known version to use the PocketPC 2002 OS, 4.00.11 is one of the latest version with the new version of the OS: Windows Mobile 2003.

Many thanks, one question, i live in cambodia, my network is CamGSM (Mobitel Cambodia), it is posible to update to ROM 4.00.16 T-Tobile? or ROM 4.00.11 is the same 4.00.16 T-Mobile??

If you have Asian Xda use ROM 4.00.05 or ROM 4.00.11.
ATT Radio 4.21.00 works well too if you want the "always on" feature.

Just a question for you guys. I just updated my XDA to 4.00.05 and I am not getting the sound when I connect my xda to the computer (The active sync sound) I know its something small but its bothering me. Is it fixed in 4.00.11?
I assign my own sounds to events
I want it to say hi to my computer when I connect it. It did with Pocket Pc 2002. :-(

Yes, Sure it is very good one, before this my XDA run ROM 3.16 ENG WM2002, now upgrade ROM to 4.0011 WM 2003, every I need are appear, Thanks alot to XDA-Developer, but if you know how to get ring tone with MP3 or MIDI, please let me know.

you can extract it from your ExtendedROM, i need this files for making an upgrade for xdall Cambodia version...

Try cooking your own ROM at http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/.
I would recommend yu take some time in the Wiki section and build up understanding of issue with ROM upgrade. 1000 of valuable post on ROM upgrafe and Special Edition ROM (quite old now)

I've been having probs with Lumpi. I can't get it to make an 4.-1.19 Ger rom or giving me an error with 4.01.12 Eng and York is closed.

What for error do you get?
If you have selected an operator config, have you regarded the hint to let some free space for the cooking process?

Yes this is possible, you could use either a new rom (which you can cook in a rom kitchen.
Or you can use the sd card way.

but the rom's in the kitchen are lower than my rom

T0722 you can still downgrade
even if the rom is a lower version
or are you asking IF you should downgrade to a lower version ?

Actully, I'm looking for a better rom. probly a 4.00.16 ENG rom. I only see specific telecom roms. what's the diff anyway?

sorry what i meant was 4.00.11 rom. atually i'm looking for one also coz i downgraded to 4.00.05 and it hangs often. 4.00.11 is more stable. i also would like to try the 4.00.16 but it's only available on T-Mobile in the kitchens anyone?

I don´t know which version of WM2003, but here in Germany you can buy the mda I witg WM2003 from T-Mobile.

I don´t know which version of WM2003, but here in Germany you can buy the mda I witg WM2003 from T-Mobile.

i've seen t-mobile updates of WM2003 but i don't think it will work well in asia. because t-mobile uses the 900/1900 while in asia we have the 900/1800 frequency.

That will be no problem. The site i linked in the post above is from T-Mobile in Germany. We also use the 900/1800 frequency.
But i didn´t find anyone, that has an new MDA with the original t-mobile wm2003 Software....

Yes and No , all new T-Mobile MDA`s have WM2003 , but this ROM you can`t get alone(without MDA) .
At the T-mobile site(Germany) is only PPC2002 upgrade .

i Liked the PPC2002 on my xda, more stable than any other rom i tried, the only problem i got with it that it doesnt allow me to assign .WMA as ringtones, do u have any solution to this?

how about the radio stack- what version is the best for 900Mhz provider ??

I upgraded the rom the the latest xda-developers rom and put the 4.21 radio stack on mu xda model PW10A1 because the fone function did'nt work with the 6.24 radio stack.

O2 XDA - Downgrade to original O2 ROM

I have recently upgraded to 2003 using xda-developers ROM. Now I want to sell my Wallaby as I have now got a new partner in a XDA IIs. Can anyone advise me how to downgrade to the original O2 2002?

Download the ROM and install it....

they all work on your wallaby device
it all comes down to what language you want
and how new a rom you want
a good pointer is the higher the number the newer the rom

Well,if you have G3 phone then just download the official carrier's rom from its website and reflash to revert back to original wm5 rom,but if you have G4 phone,the revert back to wm5 is entirely different method,ok
