O2 XDA II delay on answer before voice is connected

Does anyone else have this problem? I answer the call by pressing green handset button but the calling party and myself cannot hear each other for about 3 to 4 seconds....
I ahve ahd some callers who were about to give up just as we were evntualy able to talk. If this is a fault, then I need to get it looked at under warranty.

Long shot, I know, but - do you have Towa's Bluetooth Tools installed? They can cause such behaviour.

I have the same issue, the work around is not to answer until the third ring!
The problem only occured for me after loading imates 1.72 rom on my XDAII

I did have pocket bluetooth tools installed and have now uninstalled it.
I had it installed because it turns on bluetooth on an incoming call and is handy when using the Jabra 250.
However it follows that maybe the delay is causd by this very switching on of BT so I'll report back when it's had a good testing.
The ROM I am running is not the newest one quoted in the second reply and if this is a side effect of installing that rom then I will stay as I am...boy does that delay bug me

Ok all...problem solved...it was the bluetooth tolls that cause it...uninsatlled ans now no delay.

I also experience delay, but i cannot uninstall pocket bloutooth tools because then my BT GPS won't work anymore
Is there a way to disable this headset functionality in pocket bluetooth tools because i don't need it, I only need com port for BT GPS... Is there any alternative solution for MDA-II ?

bluetooth drops when ppc auto off while phone call connected

HELP! i've spent an hour looking thru bluetooth posts for someone having the same problem but no luck. here is what happens: i'll be on the phone, using my motorola HS810 bluetooth headset, and 5 minutes into the call the ppc will auto-power off. the phone call stays connected and i can hear the caller on the bluetooth headset but they can't hear me.
so, when the ppc auto powers off the phone works fine (as it should) but bluetooth drops. the only solution i have is set the ppc to not auto powe off, but then a calender reminder pops up, i don't see it, and my battery drains.
is there a way to set the ppc to not power off while a phone call is connected?
any ideas?

updated the rom which solved the problem.

great to hear, i've been reading up on upgrading my rom. all the posts i've followed say i will require 'romupdate.exe'. becasuse the read me file is in german for the mda rom upgrade i found on the site i cannot tell if ths file is inclueded in the zip or not. do you know if i need to download rom upgrade software to perform this operation or is it part of the zip package?

TyTN with bluetoooth headset: voice speed dial wont work

PROFS OF THE XDA-WORLD, PLEASE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!
i have my htc tytn since 2 weeks. i connected my Samsung WEP-150 bluetooth headset (worked previously with Samsung tels, and qtek 9100). Now the issue is: after hard reset the headset works properly: push-beep-i say the name-he says the name and calls. And this is the last time it works until the next hard reset. The issu comes up with Nokia BH-200 headset too. The unit opens the audio gateway (can hear the noice), but closes it immediately, so i cant hear the beep, and say the name into the headset. If the unit is in my pocket, i cant say the name loud enough!
What i allready tried:
-upgrade to ext 106
-upgrade to jasjam 1.20...
-and with the original (ext 105) firmware the bttoggle prog.
The bttoggle (i red about it here) is a funny prog. Everybody wants to listen music on his unit, but i just wanted to use as designed. If i run the bttoggle 2 times (first is audio gateway on, second switches back to voice speed dial), the stuff works till the next softreset (or sometimes it loses the setup in suspend mode too).
Anyway, i think this is not good so.

PS: one more question: why is a com port in the headset profile there? is it useful? the dealer told me to switch it of, and only use the handsfree port.

Bluetooth Problems on X1

hopefully anyone has an answer to the strange bluetooth behaviour of my X1.
The first device is a bluetooth headset from Sony. It works good, if bluetooth is activated. But after some time of not using the headset, the phone just switches off bluetooth. Sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes days after my last use of the headset. I tried all settings of the bluetooth-settings with no change. And it sucks if with the next phone call the headset cannot connect anymore because bluetooth was switched off.
The second device is a GNS TrafficBox Plus FM9BT-Y. Somehow MN7 does not detect the device directly, so I have to use the workaround with the serial port and outgoing connection on COM1.
The initial minutes the connection works fine, but then stops and is not restored.
Here as well trying different settings changed nothing.
How can I find out the address of the bluetooth devices?
Is there a tool to further test bluetooth connections (like what speed can be used, the address of the device, etc)

I'll be on a call in my car & it switches the blutooth off without warning. generally after about 10 minutes of actual call time. But it doesnt disconnect unless during a call ? There is no rhyme or reason to it, it just sometimes happens?

I have Ra2generic DE with the 1.10 radio ROM on it.
At the beginning it was fantastic not having the bluetooth issue. Everything was working so extremely goood... no switching off, no disconnecting of and from the bt headset,, etc...
After a while the issue was here again...damn! So the bt became not very useful in its functionalities.... then I saw that it was not possible to see through my bt freespeech device in the car the last calls on the phone... hm, ok I said. There were lot of calls (incoming, outgoing, missed, etc) on the list...I erased them all...
Now it is working in a perfect way.... no disconnecting, no switching off..and this with the stock ROM and Radio ROM.
I tried it a few months before posting it here... now I'm cleaning up my calling list every 2nd day (I really call a lot) and I have no problems..
Hope it works for you..

i have the same problem, the bluetooth disconect without any reason, i have tried more than 10 Roms and i dont have any solution
¿is so dificult for Sony to repare this problem?

I hardreseted the device, installed the newest official firmware, deleted the calling list and with great expectations checked bluetooth behaviour.....nothing changed for me
But great it works for you and thanks for the tip

Bluetooth with clarion mind
Am having trouble connecting with my new Clarion MIND - is seems the phone does not see the profiles (very similar to the phone adding the older SE Bluetooth Watch, the 100). Has anyone built a .cab to sort this out?

Xperia Relase 3 and bluetooth

Xperia is the first SE-Handy im really unhappy with. After installed the latest patch the bluetooth is still not working proper.
First: With an active call on bluetooth, bluetooth connection is shuting down when handy goes in powersave mode. How can a handy goes in powersave mode (turning screen black) when i have an active call.
Second: When a bluetooth headset is active i cant choose anymore to answer the call with or without headset. i have to do it with the headset. When a headset is active the handy doesnt ring, its just rings on the headset.
These are features every handy can manage even the cheapest ones and i expect more from a handy like this and from SE really.
Maybe im doing something wrong then im sorry but im close to through this handy in the basket. This handy is sh.....

On the wm 6.5 i tried, i read that cleaning up missed call, it would help. And it did. BUt with the latest R3 from SEUS, itis a nightmare.
Woraround for me is to switch off all Bluetooth, then turn off the X1 bluetooth, wait a minute, turn it on, wait a minute then turn on my bluetooth headset again.
It works OK...

XPERIA have the worst Bluetooth i,ve eever seen.
It works right with my car, but disconect when it wants ((IT A PROBLEMA FROM SE SYS).

i was hoping R3 would solve this, I have your issue as well as this one:
My issue is that my tomtom will not fully connect to the X1 not allowing text messaging or wireless data to be recieved by the tomtom,
My W960i worked a treat, if i got a text the tomtom would read it out and i could text back using the remote or by touching the tomtom screen, also i had wireless data that allowed me to recieve traffic, weather, map and POI updates on the move.
With my X1 i only get calls and thats it. My tomtom says "your phone does not have the supported features". How can a walkman phone have more bluetooth features than a win mobile?
I contacted them but they dont care. This is the worst thing for me I need this function!!!

Bluetooth is a piece of crap standard - it's one of the worst standards EVER that made it into consumer electronic devices.
I wish BT would DIE FOREVER.
