SMS and the Wizard

I was wondering if it was possible to import old sms/text messages which reside on the sim card. I just got the phone and looked through basically all the options that I could find and none allowed me to change this. I have an imate sp5 also and that allowed me to easily import the sim messages. I believe it can but I dont know how or maybe there is some program that can help?

hey I've been wanting to know how to save messages if possible.
I want to update my phone, but I have some important messages that I do not want to lose. is there a way that I can save them?

SMS Problems

Hi All,
I changed my SIM card yesterday (replacement) and since then can't sent SMS messages?
I have tried to find info. on this with no luck! Any ideas

im also using ROM Version 1.66.405.2

What is the problem? Does it show any error?
Have you checked if the SMS center number? (I think you can find how to do that in the manual or by contacting Vodafone).

SMS problem
I have this problem also.
I think it's a bug in the software of HTC-sense ( not WM ), while, when I send a free sms (only one's a day) from the Vodafone-button in the Start-menu, this works well.
I have all the update's done from the HTC-site, also all the Rom's I've tried from this site.
Should say HTC is coming with the solution, but this it's pending much to long!

I had same problem as each SMS I tried to send was found stucked in the outbox file and never been sent out.
That was solved be replacing the SIM card, with a brand new one i got.
The former Sim card worked perfect with my old device - but not with the new HD2.
Try to use another new Sim card to find out if that is the same case.

hi there i had this problem with the sms and now i'm all good.
i have the 1.48 rom inst. and i have found on the htc europe site an update for sms. i' ve instaled it and after 1 month of testing it i have no problems with my sms not sending or stocked in the outbox like before. i'm also on vodafone

Import SMS to Leo.

Hello guys!
I've have one question. Now, I want to use my Leo as my main phone again over my Desire.
I've got a backup of my messages in Desire, but can't restore it on my Leo. When I click import, it says "Messages sucessfully saved" or something like this - but when I go to messages it is still empty. I've have about 600+ sms which is important.
Any good idea for importing software?

[HELP]Import sms msgs from my nokia to my new hd2

Hello everyone. Is there any ways to import/transfer the messages (they are exported to my pc in .vmg, one sms one file) to my new htc hd2? Please help me.... Those msgs were sent by my girlfriend and there are my sweet memories

I dunno if I can do that by coping those msgs into a sim on a supported nokia phone model sim card.... and then put them back into my hd2

Have you thought about Microsoft my phone

that was gonna be mysuggestion
sim into Nokia,
copy msgs to sim
swap to hd2
copy msgs from sim
use ms myphone or similar to backup from hd2

[Q] Finally

After about a month I finally got my htc HD2 working in Dominican Republic.
But there's one issue I'll trully appreciate if you guys could help me.
All my contacts are storaged on my SIM card, but I cant seem to find em
in my HD2.
Can anyone give an idea of where to look for my contacts?

You have to actually import them from your sim card by just going into your phone contacts and looking for the import listing and then BOOM there you go.Hit me back if it doesnt work for you
