Hello, this is the ppc freeware sit that i used to visit, I short from most: www.pdagold.com, www.freewareppc.com, www.pocketpcfreeware.com
I download so... many apps from there. for net-brow i used PIEPlus, coz opera didn't release for WM , Hope that will help you a little...
if you by drag'n'drop mean from your pc to your device then use explore device in activesync

Late Post
Sorry may be a little late, but have you try NetFront 3.2?
it faster and i think best web browser ever....
anyone know whether MS Voice Command can work on XDA IIi ?
version 1.1 hang when running after installed.
maybe voice commander 1.5 fix this ?
it should be compatible with all 2003 devices

Opera have no intention on writing a browser for Windows Pocket PC.
They will however be relasing a version for Windows Mobile 2005, as the OS will be the same on both Pocket PC and Smartphone, so giving a sizable target market.
but the java opera version works ok on pocketpc's

but it being a java miplet would prob mean it's not the fastest thing

Yup,
Check the Macromedia site for the Flash plugin. Is also available on this site. Good luck.
what about a java plugin for the PIE so i can use hushmail.?
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Java/JeodeForPocketPC.exe
It's a Java JVM for Pocket Internet Explorer.
sweet ill let people know if it works with hushmail
plugin fails to load.. i have no clue whats wrong with it.
Just installed it on my Qtek 9000... works fine with Buzztime (www.buzztime.com) in Internet Explorer Mobile.
RE
Hi BeyondtheTech,
I can access buzztime too
Whats there in buzztime that separates the difference between having java and no java installed?
Any other java-enabled sites that can be tested out which cannot be tested by no java installed?
Thanks
The Buzztime games are Java-enabled internet-multiplayer games. I don't know about other Java sites, though.

Hi BeyondtheTech,
Few questions on Jeode for PPC
1) Does it supports WM5?
2) After installing, can internet banking sites be accessed from the PPC? I was informed that because Jeode for PPC does not have security features, hence, banking sites cannot be accessed ie. login in
3) If no, is there any way that internat banking sites can be accessed from the PPC?
Thanks
i can get in desertschools.org and bofa.com
i can access HSBC Banking from my PPC anyway - althought i dont think thats JAVA.
I do have problems playing games that are made with Visual Basic though - gonna look for a plugin/install now
p.s Using a O2 Exec WM5
hey!
in my country thers blog tv girls brodcast
how can i see them on my jasjam
what do i need to download???
Ok, You might need to give a bit more information.
For example, what country are you in? Which websites are you trying to view on your Jasjam? You could use IE built in but a lot of people prefer Opera. Not sure if there is a Mozilla available yet
Are you on a contract? Do you have GPRS in your area? Does your SIM/mobile account allow you access to the web?

That's all Flash Video 8. Just like Youtube and Google Video... There is currently no software to play this natively on Windows Mobile devices.
I've heard your only solution is Orb or possibly a newer Sling Media device, both of which require an always-on PC at home to act as "translator/server" for your Windows Mobile device. Since I'm a Mac user, I haven't looked into it yet. Sorry, no soup for us as they say.
Hi,
I have the following problem with X1 R2AA10, Internet Explorer:
I cannot get it to spoof websites that it is NOT ppc but desktop version. I want to get 'regular content' and not this mobile crap. I have changed all version strings I could find via Resco Registry, and still, somewhere hidden it gives out something that websites come up with that mobile version instead of regular.
Anybody knows how so change what, so that I can get real desktop versions of websites instead of mobile versions?
Thanks
PS
No, I don't want to use Opera!
However, anybody knows a way so that PIE understands JavaScript?
So about a month ago I managed to acquire a Dell Axim X50 low at a garage sale. It is in great running shape and has Windows Mobile 2003 SE on it. I like having little electronics to take to work with me (I am not able to have anything more than a smart phone).
I have been doing a few internet searches, and I cannot seem to find any links anywhere to download the upgrade to Windows Mobile 5. Is there anywhere that anyone knows of where I would be able to acquire it online? I have searched Dell's support website and cannot find any downloads for it anywhere, and support for it has long been dropped. Thanks!

I don't know how up-to-date the website is but htcgeeks.com was always my go-to source for help when I had my Ax.
Have you tried this?
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails?driverId=X4F0F
It's an update to WinMo 5.0 but it might work.
Depends whether the installer bothers to look at what's on the device first.
The 33 MB size of the package looks like its a complete WinMo 5.0 ROM
Good Luck!
