try using another sd card...if it recognises it....its confirmed that there is no hardware issue.
then put in your own....which sd card are you using?....storage???

Its a Kingston Micro SD 2 GB Card.
Have you tried any other card in GENE?
First try any other card.
Then try your card in any other phone.

Hey guys!
I have a question about flashing with SD-Card:
Do I have to use 1GB/2GB Cards which are none "SDHC" cards?
Or does our Blackstone support High Capacitiy in Bootloader Mode?

I flashed mine using the 8GB card that came with the phone. I would of thought as long as the phone can read the memory card you'll be able to flash from it.
Ok, if you did it with the 8GB card then it should work. Thanks

That's wrong, as far as I know. My old device was a Hermes which I could NOT flash with SDHC cards. But it was also able to read SDHC cards like my 4GB SDHC card.
That's why I asked
i tried with 2 different 8gb cards one of which came with the phone and both didnt work ,
but my 2gb and 16gb both work

I can confirm this too - and I nearly always flash my HTC's from the card.
But you need make sure that card is first formatted to the correct FAT (cant remember which now, its in the Wiki), and obviously that the phone can see the card. Then all should work fine!

Hello,
I use a Sandisk 8GB micro SDHC card in my Tattoo. The first problem is that the card is not always recognized. After a reboot it works mostly fine again. The second problem is that i lost sometimes all my data on the card without any reason, it is just gone in a moment, I have already formatted the card in my PC but without any success. It is also not possible to do a format in my Tattoo (not working). Any suggestions how to handle with this? Thanks a lot, Mark
try formating the card i have the same card and it works sharply.. (format twice. )
Oops
I was thinking about buying this card... But now I think I won't risk :\

I've had this problem with my 8gb sandisk card too, but with froyo NFinity - had to format it the first time, and it was fine for a couple of days, then yesterday it came up with "Preparing SD Card", then "SD Card safe to remove" then "SDcard blank or has unsupported filesystem" in the notifications blind. Never had anything other than a FAT partition, and when I try to fomat it (on the phone, in Windows, in Linux) I can't. :/ I think my 4gb card was fine, but a bit scared to check now!

I had the same problem with the same SD. Then I changed it for one of 4GB and then no more problems.

This topic has already been covered, but even after reading the other threads I am still having no luck in getting my SD card to mount/format.
At this point I have my microSD card in a usb card reader, and my computer is not even recognizing the microSD card.
I'm guessing my microSD card is dead/fried, but is there anyway to tell for sure?

If its not recognized by any device I would say that's a good way to tell.
May have a warranty so check into it.
From two days I have problem witk my SD Cards it shows ``Sd card is blank or has unsupported filesystem'' I tried different SD card but it got destroyed too. When I'm connecting SD directly too computer it works but when I try by Smartphone it's invisible. It's the same in different phones with this SD cards

Did you fixed it? I'm experiencing the same problem.. when you get an answer, please post us.
It is very possible it was due to an unsupported file system
