XDA II Orange UK GPRS/WAP settings

I have recently come from a 9210i on Orange to a XDAII so I am not upto date with GPRS and WAP.
I have got my phone unlatched and I am back on Orange, now i want to ensure that I can download emails / connect to the internet and receive send mms.
Orange have confirmed gprs and wap are enabled on my account.
Can someone provide me a dummys guide on how to set it up

OK, I have got web access working, but I am still having issues with sending and reciving MMS
If I recive one, I get notification in the inbox, but cannot download.
If I send it sits in my outbox.
Any ideas aprricated

mms software included not working for me too with orange france.
I use ezwap 2.5 with mms support and work perfectly.

does anyone have ezwap settings for orange uk ( i do not know how to config this app)

(Just need some basic GPRS/MMS settings)

I can only help with gprs internet connection. I haven't worked out how to configure mms yet
Add a new connection and use the following settings
Enter a name for the connection:
orangeinternet
Select a modem
Cellular Line (GPRS)
Access point name
orangeinternet
Leave username / password /domain blank. Do not configure anything in advanced
If I can be of any more assistance let me know

HELP Need Vodafone UK Wap Settings CSD (Not GPRS)

Hi all, need help setting up my XDA I with vodafone wap settings. I do not need the GPRS settings, just the csd ones. I am using ppc2003 if that makes any difference. Any help appreciated, Regards, Ronnie ;-)

Hi I have just transfered my MDA compact to accept Vodafone sim card..I used this forum it is excellent. However I have tried using most of the previous post in respect to setting up GPRS and MMS settings ..all have so far failed.

There are Vodafone Contract and Pay as u go.Quite different.Did u selected the right one?
Just download the right cab and install it.

I did download the contract one..but no luck..message comes..up that the download ay not work as it was designed for previous windows mobile software...

Proxy - Socks - 212.193.137.12:1080
Proxy settings are required for the "Work" connection

Spoke to vodafone..they said i am gprs enabled via the blackberry tarif.,
However i havent got a blackeberry ..i just had bog standard nokia issued to me from work...which i switched the sim to my mda compact..but cant get GPRS work..

click On Start
Then Click On Settings
Then Click On Connections
Then Click On Edit
Name Of Beerer Vodafone 3g
Select Gprs Option
Then Vpn Pp.vodafone.co.uk
User Name Is Wap
Password Is Wap
Dom 212.183.137.012
Then Click On Advance Select Networks To My Work Network On Both Options​
