Extended Rom Unlock or other - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Hi, I've got an O2 XDA2. I've done a hard reset and the done a soft reset to stop the O2 software installing. Is there somewhere I can download the O2 Rom stuff so that I can install the bits I need and not install the bits I don't want? If not is there a tool to unlock the rom so that I can do this myself?
Any help appreciated

Himalaya crased running ClearJumpCode... HELPPPPPPPPPPP

Hi everybody:
I've just crashed my himalaya when i ran ClearJumpCode... how could i fix it???
Somebody is going to kill me before 2005
Please anybody could help me
thanksssssssssssssssssssss
Try hard reseting your device if still not. reflash it...
you have to re-flash the device.... you had just cleared it of its Identity... goodluck!
Yes, I did on mine also and you don't have a choice but to upgrade the device (flashed). After I upgrade my device my device its now showing O2 on my operator ID. I used to be TMOBILE. I guess runing clearjump on your device erase even operator ID. Can someone enlighten this...
So, it means that you can flashed your device without changing operator ID as long as all nbf files are the same operator. (this is just a wild guess).

Orange M600 Unlocking and extended rom

Has anyone managed to unlock there m600 and if you have how did you manage it. I have tried all the things suggested on the forum and still no luck with the sim unlocking.
On a different topic, i managed to unhide the extended rom only to find that there was nothing in it. Does anyone know where the install files are stored. Looking at the reg implies that there may be a partion that is hidden with them on.
Any ideas
Right, let me get this straight...
"Lockiwiz can only unlock your Prophet device if your Rom version is 1.XX.XXX. For the new AKU2 ROMS (i.e Orange M600 ROM) there is no solution yet."
If this is the case, then can we use A-Wizard or the hacked romupdateutility to FLASH back to a pre-AKU2 ROM and then use Lokiwiz to unlock the device, and then flash back to a 'latest AKU2 ROM' (Dopod one is latest and greatest atm) and continue to have a SIM UNLOCKED device???
Please can someone try this? I get my M600 in a week and need to be able to unlock it. Am in the USA atm and need to use a T-Mobile SIM in it.
Appreciate any help.

Newbie needs tutorial

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the MDA compact 3 and have a few questions im hoping someone can clear up for me. I used to have a Motorola V3 and could hack that to hell and back but this seems a lot more complicated.
I have a T-mobile UK MDA Compact 3 and im going to use www.imei-check.co.uk to unlock the sim lock and CID. Unless someone knows of software which allows me to do it myself.
When it is unlocked i want to put an O2 sim card in it but then it will be full of T-mobile crap i dont want. Is it as easy as just wipe it and install a fresh copy of windows mobile 5 on it to erase all T-mobile branding and have a HTC factory stock one similar to a home PC re-install.
Has anyone written a tutorial on how to wipe and re-install, I tried searched but couldnt find anything.
Thanks for any help you can give.
If you do not want the Tmobile crap, just hardreset the phone. During installation, soft reset the phone just after the security section (when it ask if you want to set a password). That will get rid most of the Tmobile crap and your phone will be crap free. Although you may still have the 1st Tmobile splash screen crap. As for the O2 crap that you may need, either do a search for the CAB or you can always input it manually (not that difficult) once you got all the necessary info.
Thanks for the reply.
Sorry for this question but how do I do a hard reset?
So if I do a soft reset, which im guessing is just turn it off and back on using the power button, after the security section it will not put any of the T-mobile crap on it. Does that mean that if it needs to go back and I need to restore it to how I got it, I can do another hard reset and just allow it to run right through without doing the soft reset after the security section.
Start -> Settings -> System -> Clear Storage = hardreset

Looking for Original SMT5600 Audiovox ROM

Hey everyone, I have a Audiovox branded Cingular SMT5600 phone with the original factory ROM on it. Today I turned it on and it is just sitting with the three color bars and is stuck. Is there anyone out there that has a working link to the original Cingular ROM for 2003SE that can with the phone? I want to restore it to factory. i have never flashed it or unlocked it, so I am afraid if I just try and load a WM5 or WM6 ROM on it as it is not unlocked I will be in a worse situation so that is why I want to load the factory original. Any help would be great!!!
i found the .BN file in the forum's on this site, thanks! Anyone tell me how to flash the backup rom in the .BIN format to my phone?
never mind, I figured out the Camera button was stuck on my phone. A simple disassembly and adjustment of the housing fixed it!! Thanks to the forums!
