Where to get a radio unit file in SD format ??

Hello
I have a serious problem with my XDA Qtek 1010 on the radio part.
In the bootloader i got " GSM ERROR" due to an error in flashing procedure.
I can back-up my ROM and bootloader and GSM part as well.
The problem is that I have found a lot of files to flash my ROM part bu nothing for the RADIO part.
Is there anyone so kind to help me and send a file ( or a link to download from ) from the radio part ( in SD format ) ?
Thanks,
Silviu C.
It would help if we knew what Radio stack you were running before the upgrade?
radio version before upgrade
I am not sure about initial radio version. It was an upgrade that is for sure.
please help me
Ok here you go, download the below file, use WinZip to extract the .cab from the .exe and copy it to your SD card.
Qtek 1010 Radio Stack Upgrade
http://www.carrierdevices.com.au/downloads.php?region=Asia Pacific
Download Radio Upgrade File : RSUv1.15_(GPRS_T32500_ENG).exe
BTW read the WARNING

Ok locate and copy the below files to your devices windows folder and run RSUpgrade.exe to restart the upgrade. (note this is an old method but it might still work).
RSUpgrade.exe
RSUpgrade.cp64
monitor_ul_bs.map
monitor_ul_bs.m0

Where can I get ROM: 4.01.00 ENG for XDA1 900/1800?

Could you guide me to where is new ROM ROM: 4.01.00 ENG
Radio: 6.24.01, 900/1800, it is new for XDA1?
Thanks
The 4.01.00 ENG version is here ftp://tmobile:[email protected]:21 .. but be careful as it contains the upgrade for RSU and I 'm not sure it supports 900/1800 or not since it's TMO upgrade.
If your device has no Radio problems (GSM), my advice would be to down load the file, use Winzip or WinRAR to extract the NK.nbf file which the ROM upgrade, put it on SD card and flash your XDA using the bootloader.
PS: if you are sure that your network is 1800 MHz then do NOT use R6.24 for RSU upgrade.
Good luck
Many thanks Sir
I am in Cambodia. There are two network 900 and 1800Mhz, I am using 900 Mhz, my ROM id 4.0.0.11 ENG, So where can I get ROM: 4.01.00 ENG in ZIP (NK.nbf) file? your ftp is only exe.
Regards
socheat
rename the exe to zip
and get the file from inside the zip
it's called NK.nbf

Why not using the .exe Version?
You can extract the .exe file using winzip for example and then you can find the extracted NK.nbf file....
HTH
Stefan
i just rename the file from exe to zip
and enter it like a normal dir using total commander
then i go into the dir inside it called english
and copy the file NB.nbf out
of cause would be nice to have the clean rom so one can avoid
having tmobile all over the place

Simply, coz the exe will start by upgrading the RSU and this what we want to avoid!

Just goto the \windows\startup directory and delete the file named "VsBattery.lnk" and switch off the Today plug-ins of TMO.
If you really like the TMO s/w but hate to see the icon, use the ResourceHacker application and replace the icons, dialogs, bitmaps and string tables of the 2 files VsBattery.exe and VStreamMgr.exe with your own resouces. Yes it's not very ethical but it's "Not for Sale" ... isn't that what TMO says in the splash screen ??
Many thanks for all your advice.
But your ftp site is so slow, i download 3 or 4 times but cannot, it automatic disconnect.
could you show other site to download.
Regards
you could install and use a download manager like getright
the server is fast enough for me so maybe it's because the line to asia is not the best try at another time or use a download manager or get somebody closer to you to host the rom

Unlock SX56 Rom Ver. A.30.09 Eng

I Syncronized the XDAUNLOCK to my AT&T SX56 but when I tried to run it I got "error getting unlock code" can you help...
Thanks
Backup your existing rom to sd card, install developers rom special edition, this will unlock the phone, then flash original rom from sd using bootloader method.
need to unlock sx56
is there another method to install developers rom special edition b/c i tried to cook up a new rom after being redirected to www.yorch.net but 1st my rom version at&t A.30.09 eng is not listed does it mean i can't do it
2nd i used the 3.17.03 ENG O2-Euro hoping to overwrite mine but i could only create an exe not an nk.nb1 or the .nbf file
from this new kitchen http://xda.weblink.net/ i was able to create a nk[1].nb1 rom made by chosing my current rom version does anyone know if it will unlock my phone

i extracted the exe file to a new folder but there was not an .nbf file or at least i couldn't find one :?: :!: :?:
thanks
there is a subfolder named english. The NK lives there.
i found the nbf file i had to extract onto itself
i'm using the bootloader to do flash the new rom to my phone
i'm at the step where the device is suppose to recognize a new rom on my sd card
i copied the nbf file using xdarit
i plugged the card back into the pda
now i start the wallaby bootloader im running v5.15 it supposedly should recognize the new rom well the instructions say to copy the .nb1 file on the card but with the extraction method i could only get a .nbf is that why it's not being recognized
thanks
thanks guys my phone is free .... free as in unlocked
these are the steps i took
someone can do in 30 mn what i did in 1 day
-backed up my rom onto a sd card with wallaby bootloader v5.15
-using the xdarit i downloaded my old rom on my PC
-cooked a new rom with xdaunlock at yorch.net
-couldn't create a .nb1 or .nbf file so i took the .exe rom
-with winzip extracted the newly dowloaded rom onto itself to get the nk.nbf file to be flashed (when i extracted it on a new folder there was no nk file listed, so i went back to the kitchen cooked another rom saved the exe "et voila")
-i couldn't get the newly upgraded rom to be recognized when using the bootloader
-downloaded the xdatools to copy the nk file on sd card (i was unable to pick my sd card reader as a destination -weird stuff) so i did this
-from the english folder Abbas is talking about above i right click the nk file to copy it to SD card and xdatools was launched automatically
-plugged the sd card in the phone and started the bootloader v5.15 and instantly the rom on the sd card was recognized
-press action to download it
-cold reboot ( the battery on/off, erase all)

Maybe they should downgrade their radio, then unlock and then upgrade the radio and rom again. I think that is the new tool cgigate developed!

how do I load a radio with out the rest of the rom???

can anyone explain the procedure?? I did a search and couldnt find the instructions
Just go here (or pick any Radio version you want), download, unpack, install.
ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Magician/Radio/MagicianRadio 1.12.10.rar
Once you unpack it, you can just run the install program and you should be all set.
If you have the entire ROM set (OS, Ext_ROM, radio), you'll have 3 .nbf files in the folder. The radio.nbf is obvious. The other two can be renamed and they won't install if you don't want them to.

[Q] HSPL and standard ROM's

Having put HSPL on my phone can I now put an official updated Vodafone ROM on it?
I'm slowly following the Android NAND instructions, so I went back from (standard) 3.14.161.3 ROM to (standard) 1.72.161.3 version in order to be able to put HSPL on. Now I need the radio which I know is on the 3.14 so was wondering if I can simply flash the standard 3.14 ROM?
Now you are back to 1.72, run HSPL2 and select 2.08.HSPL
* HERE * is the RADIO thread. You can select any .50 RADIO (2.08.50 or above). Some say the 2.12 is better than the 2.15, but I think either would be good enough.
I was hoping to use the standard ROM because I can flash that.
Following links to the zillion other threads I'm trying to follow for all the steps I see that I:
1. download the radio (done)
2. download the "CustomRUU" (done)
3. unzipped CustomRUU (done)
4. put radio in to same folder as customRUU and renamed radio[snip].rar to RUU_Signed.nbh (done)
5. run CustomRUU
And am told ERROR: FILE READ and that it cannot open the requested file.
Oh OK. Not come across .rar files before - it's a compression thing
Radio now updated. NEXT!
