Even when my device is charging (lets say: when battery level=70%), the green/yellow LED-light doesnt light up consequently. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes to light up.
Has this to do with my recent installation of "cell profiler" app?

where do we need that blink if phone is working properly?
if there is message or low bat, bt or wifi connection, thats nice to know, but no need for green light to show that there is power.
so, how to disable that? registry hack or something i suppose.
thanks,
first time posting here...
My flashing light seems to do what it want's. If it flashes the right thing at the right time it's just coincidence...
Mat.. I think he's referring to e.g. the right-side green LED flash that pops up every 2 seconds when the radio is on. It can be a wee bit annoying when you've got the thing on your nightstand - some people simply can't fall asleep ( even though they should close their eyes, after which they can't see it anymore )
What does the orange light mean? It seems to change to orange whenever it wants!
afaik...
Left LED:
Green, Flashing slow (2s): WiFi on
Blue, Flashing slow (2s): BlueTooth on
Right LED
Red, Flashing quickly (1s): Battery nearly empty
Green, Flashing slow (2s): Radio on
Green, On: Fully recharged
Amber (orange), On: Recharging
Amber (orange), Flashing quickly (1s): Notifications (Alarm, SMS, MMS, etc. depending on settings)
I have a very wierd problem with the lights at the top of my device.
I have set my TyTN to flash the light when I receive a new text message. It then blinks orange. Normally it blinks green.
Here is the problem. During the night when i wake up, it feels like the green light lights up my room twice every second, but during the day when i look at my TyTN, to see if I have received an sms i have to wait for 2 seconds for the light to flash.
Just want to hear your input on what might be wrong.
Personally I think that has to do with Einstein's Theory of Relativity rather than with the device itself.
Twice every second is very obvious.. it a 2Hz flickering light that light up your room. If you are sure you are fully awake and still see 2Hz flickering light in your room at night, probably it is a UFO.
lmao yeah id be looking at metal undies you dont know what probes are gunna be comin
Hi,
I see, that B7610 has dual-LED flash/torch on the device. If the camera is turned on, both LED's are ignited. I have had hard time to find easy ant sutable app to get this flash/torch activated for longer time on signle command but now is pats that
Yet I am interested, if LED's dies might alternate between one another to minimize heat output of the die - to proteck and prolong their life. Such feature is on some Sony-Erricson phones and works very well! For now I do not risk to shine LED is longer that 30 sec. a time, and no more that 2-3 times in 5 minutes. I do not know the max. time on LED, without any long-term visible degradation - maybe someone knows better and can post it here?
Regards!
And one more idea - perhaps LED's of the flash/torch might be used for missed calls/reminders/new SMS/email notifications? A few short flashes in different patterns would be perfect solution!
It will be hardly visible notification. If phone lays face up then flash won't be visible.
Notification by short sound once per 5-10 mins is enough.
After some time of phone inactivity, a Yellov thin vertical line shows on black screen. I need to take off phone battery and wait for an about 20 min., than phone reboots again, till nex longer inactivity. Any solution?
I have an N9005 that I bought second hand just under a year ago. It's running the Phronesis 4 ROM. About a week ago a one pixel wide bright pink line appeared intermittently down the right-hand side. It looks like this (only bright freaking pink): http://forums.androidcentral.com/at...-bright-line-being-shown-display-p1070045.jpg
Today I was playing Fallout Shelter (always makes my phone pretty warm and eats battery). 15% battery warning comes up so I take it to charge. I notice the screen doesn't turn on. There is a momentary flash of dim colour at the top, but otherwise the screen is completely black. I tried pushing the power button several times, but all it did was a momentary flash of dim colour at the top but still black each time.
I took the battery out for a bit, then put it on to charge. The on screen charging display did not appear (stayed black) but after a bit the LED lit up to indicate charging as it would after the screen display turns off. I left it for a while and eventually the screen started working again (99% charge when I checked). I was then able to boot like normal.
However a while later the screen would not turn on again (just the momentary dim flash of colour at the top before black). I didn't do anything with it in this time. It just sat in standby before I tried using it again. The back button and hamburger menu buttons are not seemingly lighting up either. But the led works fine with notifications. I tested calling my phone and it rings fine - if I slide accept the call where it is normally on the screen, I can accept calls and talk like normal. But the screen remains black. So clearly the digitizer works fine.
I have tried taking out the battery for a long period of time, taking the battery out and discharging the remaining power by holding the power button (5 minutes), I have tried taking the phone apart and cleaning the display connector with some isopropyl alcohol and firmly reattaching. Screen is still black.
Is this a problem with a malfunctioning LCD or could it be something like the GPU? I don't want to pay $150-$250 for a replacement screen assembly only to find that it's some other problem
Thanks in advance!
I would suggest to get a new device.

I prefer to repair rather than replace unless I have absolutely no other choice, thanks.
