do you mean you want to sync 2 pda's on one laptop? Just connect with activesync. Are you having some kind of problem?
it should be a walk in the park not sure if they could sync at the same time though
syncing 1 pda with 2 pc's cause people way more problems

Hi all, I've been reading up here for the last 2 weeks but am still unsure what to do. Want to active sync and surf through laptop only using bluetooth, at the minute the com ports are 18 upwards for laptop so this may be the only problem I have in trying to serial communicate ? perhaps. Is there any bluetooth tools I can use to assist here or should I be looking to try and change the com port numbers to a lower number in the laptop. Running Qtek2020 1.72.00WWE, radio 1.12.00, extra rom 1.72.752. Everything else works ok Parrot car kit etc so I dont want to upset anything.
Been through Xp but can only view com port settings but cant seen to find a screen thats lets me change them ?
A friend has xda 1 and he says go to bluetooth manager settings advanced but there is none of those choices on my phone ?
Any idea on where is best to start - had phone 4 weeks and still cant work it out - any rough pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have a QTEK 8010, the same device and I also can't go online over bluetooth.
I can browse the web using usb connection but disconnecting the cable and connecting bluetooth I can't neither browse the web or use activesync.
Dealer chenged my device with a new other but the prolem remains.
Can you use activesync via bluetooth?
I you can I think it is a good startin point.

I managed to get it AS over bluetooth, after installing WM5, and 1000 of times of trying, it showed up on my bluetooth, AS as service... but make sure ur comports are set to 6 and 7 as (incoming) and choose 6 in AS.. and it'll work Now i can surf like 100 meters outside my home hehe
I just downloaded Activesync 3.8, thinking that i could THEN sync up with my Universal over WiFi...... only to learn that WM5 doesn't support it!?
So.... what's the easiest way for me to sync over WiFi?
I know it's probably been asked a thousand times, but i can't find any relevant threads.. sorry
*bump* Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I think there aren't any easy way. I think the 'only' way of doing it is through an Outlook exchange server.
Or, you may want to opt for sync over bluetooth.

Gah that's really annoying. I'd rather not do bluetooth stuff again, as that REALLY messed with my WiFi adaptor last time :/

Does your phone detects your pc's bluetooth? And it ought to detect the activesync-bluetooth-service. It should be the other way round, the phone detects your pc activesync.
Hey guys,
Any thoughts on the following problem:
My european HTC P3600 wont pair with either my MacBook or MacPro running MissingSync version 4...
I`ve tried both with USB cable and Bluetooth... the only thing left is to use some tinfoil between the phone and the freakin` power outlet of my two macs...
If anyone has ANY thoughts surrounding this strange lapse of communication between these two really great products, I would love to hear them. Expriences, tricks and encouragement is greatly appreciated!
Thanks and have a great night!

p.s. Just some technical info for those who wonder: Running OS X tiger now... the phone was usually synced up with a Windows XP workstation via ActiveSync, and has not been tampered with after the jump over to a new MacPro workstation. Therefore an idea would maybe be to reinstall the os on the phone? Maybe? Anyways.
Same here, unable to sync between Trinity and Mac using missing sync. Try PocketMac Pro because of their promotion. But only with intermittent success.
Most of the time unable to find the device.
Is the option in "Start>Settings>Connections>USB to PC" marked as enable (advanced network functionality)??
If yes, disable and try again.
M.a.s - Thank You!!
That cleared it ALL up! Thank you so much!! Have a great weekend!

Glad to know..
Great weekend for you too!
Hey all, sorry for the remedial questions, but I am pulling my hair out trying to get my phone connected to my laptop thru ActiveSync via Bluetooth. I have the verizon xv6800, running dcd 2.3.2, activesync 4.5 and windows XP.
Anyone have a noob step by step? I have read the phone docs and the activesync docs and I cannot get it. My ports are matching and I can "connect" to the laptop, meaning my pc sees it as a bluetooth device and vice versa.. but not transfer anything or connect via activesync.
Thanks.
