Hi:
Does anyone know what has happened to pocket BT tools?? There does not seem to have been any progress for ages? Has anyone been in touch with the author?
I cannot program myself, but is there anyone who would be willing to take up the mantle if the original author had stopped developing?? It would be such a shame as the current tools are very useful...

Thank you alexball ,
Did you find anything for symbian OS that works ?
Not really. i found a Program at Emule that is calles Bluetooth Master or BT-MASTER but it didn't work. They said in some other forums that it was fake.
I also read that it was much easyer to do this bluetooth hacking with linux since this os does not limit the bluetooth stack so much.
I really would be intrested in more info on that and on programs that run under Windows mobile.
unfortunatelly I do not have time to search for houres at the moment.

I have the Apache (Verizon XV6700) and noticed that there's no Today plug-in for the Device Lock feature such as on the Wizard and other Pocket PCs.
Can anyone tell me what DLL files and registry entries they could be related to, and better yet, can anyone extract them so it can be tested out on devices that don't have them?
I'm also looking for anyone who has a Samsung i730 device. They have this program called Picsel Browser and it's actually quite amazing, being able to read PDF and Office documents, plus even grab full HTML pages and look as good as your browser at home.
Please help. Thanks in advance!
Another file is the CapNotify.exe found on the Wizard. I'd like to see if it can work on the Apache. Can anyone provide this file?
anyone know how to get a driver for the TC and the iGO Sierra Bluetooth Keyboard?
you can just pair it as a bt device and it works, but i would like all of the functionality of the shortcut keys etc....
any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
(oops sorry about where i placed this thread, i meant to put it in the accessories forum)
Just browse on the device to the old ThinkOutside.com and you'll be forwarded to a page where you can download a driver.
i wish that were so, but it doesnt work for me.... do you know if any of the other devices listed there are wm6?
Sorry, I should have said: it seems they haven't created a driver for WM6 devices, but the WM5 drivers work perfectly.
Enjoy! (I love my ThinkOutside keyboard. I'm working on my fourth novel, and there's nothing better than being able to go anywhere, unfold my gear out of my pocket, and write away...)
Actually, I spoke too soon: while the keyboard works just fine in TextMaker, I've been finding over the past few days that it skips letters or puts my spaces in in the wrong order when I'm typing in any of the built-in apps. This is without any other applications running and lots of free memory on the device, so I'm not sure what's going wrong.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Anyone know of a good program like JetWare Mobile that works with WM6.1? I know WM6.1 has these enhanced BT handsfree features built in, but I liked the customizability that JetWare had. Thanks in anticipation of your helpful replies!
No one knows of anything??? Is there anyone willing to create something like this?
Jetware DEAD

This is just my speculation as I used to use Jetware as well, but with WM6.x and with Navteq offering updates to their car Nav software thru dealers (most used by car makers, Acura/Honda included), the Handsfreelink over Bluetooth is really supported by additional software enhancements by the Nav software now; at least, that seems to be the case with a lot of them.
That might not help for Acura 04 owners, but have you looked into updating your Nav software thru the dealership?
I am able to upload my entire contacts through the car's Nav system and it allows me to sort, search, display, and informs me of who is calling. That pretty much replaced any need for Jetware.
Hope that helps.
Hi. Did anyone of you ever found an alternative to "BlueInput" Bluetooth mouse driver for WM5/6?
I'm also wondering how hard would it be to actually write one if there's no alternative for this commercial product.
Is there anyone out there who would like to start such project too and contribute to coding?
