can someone with a xda2 using the extended rom builder extract and post a wmodem.cab from an english version ?
thanks
Hi!
I have just download it from a brand new I-mate with WM2003PE. My friend bought it. I have no time to try it with the I-mate.
With my Wallaby, I cant use it. If you can, please tell me a detailed setup! I try it with USb and with IrDA. My PC does not recognise the PDA as an USB or IrDA modem.
Hey Ya
Anyone got the O2 Xda II version of this CAB file please?
The file that I attached is from a Himalaya!
Does anyone have a .cab for Wmodem, that will work on an HTC TP2 (Rhodium T7380)?
I realize it's an old thread, and an OLD phone...
I'm trying to do a workaround, and connect to a pfSense box, which is a firewall and router. Mine is on a tower/pc x86, not on a plastic embedded router.
I've been pointed at this forum thread, not hyperlinked/broken, to allow me to post:
ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=780339
I've been using WMWifiRouter, have the .cab and the free license code .cab, which is now free to all.
However, per the thread above, and a poster on pfSense.org, I may need to try a client side (desktop) dialer.
It would be much easier, I suppose, to flash Timberwolf671's cooked rom. And, if bluetooth, camera or other hardware issues were never worked out, dual boot Android, via Haret...
Can anyone tell me what is the lates Widcomm Bluetooth Stack? And where can i download it? thanks
the only place i've seen you being able to get without being preloaded is in this forum where people post the cab files try doing a search

i'm following instructions given here:

have you tried this guide ?
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?ContentId=3163
and have you tried searching this forum for that vidcomm stack many versions of the vidcomm stacks have been posted in this forum
i did a search query for "1.4.2.10" and found no links to download that version of the driver, though i did already download the driver version 1.4.2.8
going to read the link that you gave me (it's big) and see if that helps me

M4io, Thanks but does it work on win2003se 2.2xx tanslated from chinees?
I don't know, i guess you just have to try.
If you do, please post your experience, so others can benefit
yeah sure, i have installed BlutootGPS and then WidcomPE and is working fine, just sometime says "bloototh could not be correctly initialized" but when it connects works fine.
I told you that the other .cab file is working fine on the 2.20 ver. I know for the message that you get, you need the non phone edition version, look at page 3 of the treed that m4io posted and look fot henrylim's post, there is a file attached called BT Widcomm.zip, download that and then download the other two files that i told you before (wavedev and 1[1].5.0801-Final), this two files are on page 1.
Thanks gotcha_mdaII,
i'll give it a try...
Hi,
I came across this seemingly wonderful BT stack replacement. It advertised to be A2DP, HID, LAP, OPP, PAN, SPP, SYNC, HS (headset) etc. Seems to have an excellent set of profiles!
Can someone try this on their device and tell me whether it works?
I'm looking for WM2003SE and WM2003 fellas (1.60, 1.72)..
http://www.bluesoleil.com/update/index.asp
Download Bluesoleil_CE_Eva_7.30.zip, version 1.4.9 (dated Nov 22, 2004).
It's a 60 days evaluation copy.
I will be the first to admit that it didn't install properly on my device, but then again, my device is now a mis-mash of configurations due to my various test on the registry.
Please check it out, and let us know. Perhaps this might be the solution to end all our problems.
And I hv extracted the HP phone registry - only the Widcomm BT related parts. Can't post the whole thing here, sorry.
Have fun to figure out if HP registry helps in enhancing our Widcomm stack....
Anyone has a XDA2s wavedev.dll?
About Bluesoleil tried it few weeks ago. Not working at least for my headset (Bluetrek G2).
Actually I guessed it's not working at all.
Thanks!

I "think" the Bluetooth stack for WM devices is incorporated into the ROM so can't be downloaded and installed seperately. Do correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think so, because.. Dell Axim phones can download it and install it on theire devices through the aximsite.
make a search in Development and Hacking
for widcomm or broadcom
you'll get some hits with some links
since your application is Universal-specific, also try the same search (Widcom or Broadcom) in the Universal forum. While you are looking, pay special attention to information from Menneisyys. He's about as up to date as anyone on BlueTooth issues.
Hope that helps!
