I HAVE XDA2I I HAVE INTERNET SEARCH SOME WEBSITE PROBLEM

HI GUYS WHEN IM GOING TO INTERNET ON YAHOO WEBSITE AND WHEN I TRYING TO USE SEARCH LINK AND WHEN I CLICK ENTER ITS SOPPOSE TO BE SHOW ME A RESULTS OF MY THING WHICH I SEARCHING BUT ITS ONLY SHOWING WHITE PAGE I DONT KNOW WHY. WHEN I USING SARCH LINK THE RESULT IS WHITE LINK IPAGE TS NOT SHOWING ME ANY RESULT. JUST GUYS GO TRYING YOURSELF YOU WILL SEE. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME I DONT KNOW HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM. NOT EVEN YAHOO WEBSITE I WANT GO TO ADOBE ACROBAT READER WEBSITE ITS NOT SHOWNIG WHOLE ON MY XDA2I ITS ONLY SHOWING PART OF THE WEBSITE NOT THE WHOLE WEBSITE. PLEASE GUYS HELP ME HOW CAN FIX THIS INTERNET PROBLEM.

if you use the scroll bar at the bottom and scroll to about 1/3rd to 1/2 of the way you will find your results, yahoo doesn't transfer aswell as some pages do, so it does work, just not too well,

Hi there can anyone please tell me where I can get a good messenger that's got yahoo in or the lot in it eg yahoo aol msn ect ect allso what's a good download site could I have some links plz I've a mda prom with windows 5.0 the downloads must be free allso the messenger must be free if u can help it would be so great thanx mono33

If you had searched the forums first you may not have needed to post. Agile Messenger is a good replacement that lets you use Yahoo, AIM as well as MSN.
What kind of downloads are you referring to? Free software? Legitimate software? There are several sites you can use, search for them in Google (ie "freeware pocket pc"). If you mean commercial software, then you can get free (often time-limited) trials at places like www.handango.com and www.pocketgear.com .

hi there thanx for your help but you never said where I can get hold of agile messenger from and is it free and yes I'm looking for any software that is free for my mda pro with windows 5.0 I can't seem to find them or when I do and download them it says on my mda pro this is not a pocket pc app so it will not run or work on here any help plz thanx mono33

Hi mono,
when Anton reacted to your mail he nicely pointed out that your way of writing is not nice. Please use dots (.) comma's (,) etc. etc. ([email protected]#$%^) whereever needed. Also use Enter. In this way You can have your mail looking better to read.
Do NOT check Submit immediately. First check Preview, so You can see if it worked like You wanted. If You see a good result, then use Submit.
I, for one, do not like to answer persons who repeatedly write in such way as You do here.

You could just have searched Google for "Agile Messenger" and for free software, as I suggested originally.
http://www.freewareppc.com/ - first result on "freeware pocket pc" in Google
http://www.agilemobile.com/ - first result (and 2nd and 3rd) when on "agile messenger" in Google
I would suggest you need to read your manuals as they explain to you how to install a program you download from the internet. There are two methods: via the PC and Activesync, or by directly installing the .cab files that contain the programs.

Web Browser

Before I start, yes I know to try searching the forums first and if thats fails search the web...I have...hence me turning to posting this
The problem is, I am looking for a smaller, faster replacement for Pocket IE. One program in particular, but I cant remember its name (hence searching for it being a problem :wink: )
Name was something like vx????? or xP????? - anyone help?

don't know which program you're try to recall. but opera 8.6 works much better than PIE.

You were looking for ftxPbrowser. But it's not optimised for WM5 yet.

Mobile IE sucks. ftxPBrowser works pretty well for Windows Mobile 5 on my MDA Pro. The AOL classic e-mail URL works to some degree--I can get all of my text e-mails, but I cannot get anything with a "picture"--in other words, HTML. Handango sells a program to directly connect to AOL e-mail--but it also doesn't work properly--it displays HTML messages as HTML code! And there is no reply button or back button!!
Opera works well to display Web pages, but will not access AOL e-mail at all.
So: what else is there? Surely there's got to be something better!!

Strange you've found ftxPBrowser usable under WM5 (read my related article on its problems under WM5.)

Opera Mini?
I checked your link--it's your blog. I skimmed through it and I don't see how it answers my questions. Why would Opera Mini solve the problems, if Opera [regular] would not? Have you tested Opera Mini with AOL?

Contacts with web links to open in Opera instead of IE?

Dear all,
I've search the forum for an answer but failed so far...
I have Opera set as my default browser. It seems to work for everything (links from google maps search etc...), except for the web links which are in my contacts. They always open in IE...
I've tried to have a go at looking into changing the registry, but my knowledge is quite limited in that field...
I wonder if anyone would be willing to help, give me some direction...

Open your browser, bookmarks and open the
T-Zones Links tab. Inside it, there should be a link
called Install Instant Messaging. That will load OZ.
