Hi all,
I am trying to network my XDAII with my PC via Bluetooth.
I am trying the following method found in the forum:
_____________________________________________________________
The XDA-II
Bung in the Widcom Stack
Run the Lovely new Bluetooth Connection Wizard and Explore. You'll see a PC icon appear, tap it. You should be offered a range of services, depending on what make of BT Dongle you have. Select 'Network Access'. A Shortcut appears. Hold the stylus down on the Icon, and select Connect from the pop-up. You will have to do the PIN thing as you connect the 2 devices. The XDA's Bluetooth Null Modem then connects to the PC, and hello broadband.

The problem I am facing is that I do not find "Network Access", I only found file transfer, com4, com5 and com6.
The activesync is working fine with com4.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Saadi

Terminal services is built into your JasJar and XP. Hunt around for some info on the subject.
This is a screenshot from VJFullscreenTSC, a hack to run it fullscreen.
VNC is also a good (preferable, IMHO) solution.

Check that your firewall on the pc isn't blocking the connection.
Also ensure that the Terminal Services service isn't disabled.

sorry Mr.dioxda2 this option is for keeping the mobile connected to GPRS but you cant browsing or transfer any file from internet.
internet
can we also run internet while doing activesync with bluetooth??
Using internet sharing (program that comes with WM6/6.1 by default) you can get the internet on your PC/laptop, but you lose ActiveSync connectivity.
Mates, is it possible to used this one

Admin please delete this thread i have some errors with my connection that's why it come uo with a double post thanks...
i dont think this is possible.
got something to do with USB host and USB slave (or something like that)
your pc is a host
your usb harddisk is a 'slave'
your usb xperia is a 'slave'
your usb networkcard is a 'slave'
and therefor you wont be able to connect a slave to a slave
I threw together a Mortscript to patch the wi-fi problem I was having with Proxycap. I was adding a 1st rule to direct connect, but then it wouldn't default to the next rule.
Here is a quote from Proxycap tech support : "When you want to connect to the Internet without a proxy, you can just disable ProxyCap:
Start/ProxyCap Config/Misc/Disable ProxyCap."
The Wi-Fi mortscript will Enable / Disable Proxycap and turn your wifi off and on. No need to reboot after clicking Yes or No.
Install
Unzip the wifi folder.
Move it to you Program Files folder.
You can create a shortcut on your Today screen or tether the script to a key.
Click Wi-Fi to run. You will be prompted with " Do you want wifi? Yes No
Yes will disable Proxycap and start WiFi.
No will enable Proxycap and stop WiFi.

My Proxycap wifi fix is working great on my HTC Imagio.
Hi guys,
I have an Android 8.0 head unit (COIKA , specific for my car that dont have double din) and use a Huawei E8372 with a sim card for internet connexion.
The problème I have is that Android won't connect to internet without wifi. I can see the mobile signal strenght in the notification bar (this one :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
)
but there is no setting to enable 4G directly via USB, instead of wifi.
It works fine with Wifi but it always take 3-5 minute for the dongle to send out the signal and for the car to connect to it. And repeat every time I shut the engine off.
I find it easier to just have the Head Unit use the dongle as a sim card reader and get internet from there, but I could not find a solution for this.
Is there an app that would do it ? Any way to install some sort of driver for this to work ?
Thanks for your help !
