Hello, a while back I posted a charging problem, which turned out to be the Mini-USB and Wall Charger was bent, and before that, the Mini USB outlet in the phone broke entirely. Well, another problem has arisen, as finally got a new charger yesterday, and worked perfectly. So, I shut it off, and left it to charge overnight. Now, the problem? All of a sudden, it refuses to boot. Held down the power button for 5 seconds, 20 seconds, and a full minute. Nothing. Any suggestions?

if nothing at all happens, try the battery jump start method
Well, after constant trying at starting the phone, I managed to have it boot after hours. What happened? During the boot,where it displays Windows Mobile 6, a line appeared, and the phone darkened, and then crashed.
What the hell.
I suggest a hard reset......

....................And how can I hard reset when it doesn't boot, and whenever it does, crashes during it?

I'm currently having the same problem with mine. Hard resetting didn't work for me but you may as well try it.
If you can get it to start booting for just a few seconds you can hard reset it without loading the operating system. As soon as you get it to turn on, hold down the Wifi and Voice command buttons (one's on the left, one on the right). After holding those down, press the soft reset button (the little button on the right that you can press with your stylus) very quickly and release it. If you hold the soft reset button too long, it will perform a regular soft reset and you'll have to start over, so do that quickly.
A black screen should come up and tell you to press your send button to hard reset your phone.
I have similar problem,It's turn on to the logo that's always shown when boot and then it show the logo till it discharged.I tried hard reset,but it's still the same,i post 2 topic's in this website and no one help me
i too am facing the same problem, i was able to start it a few times but it crashed after a few seconds each time. i m gonna charge it all night and see if it starts. right now all i m getting is the red led. i really hope someone finds a solution soon.
With me it was my battery that caused the problem. Try it with the battery of another wizard. Succes, Rietje
ok so i charged it for more than 12 hours and my wizadr still didnt start.
I then got a NEW BATTERY and my wizard turned on within the very moment i pressed the power button.
So any one who is facing a similar problem should try a new battery.

faced a similar problem a while back. i replaced the battery and the phone was back to normal

try a battery frm a friends phone. u ll be sure that the battery u r using works fine. if ur phone still doesnt work then u need to have it checked.
i have same problem,,and i use T-Mobile MDA Vario
is it just battery problem or not?and if the PDA inactive it can still charge or not?
and i usually use blackberry charger to charge my PDA,is it ok?and is there any possibility my PDA can't work again?i hope not

Well for starters, charging your phone overnight will probably damage the battery over time. It's only the newer phones and batteries that are able to withstand extended overcharging times without serious damage to the battery. With older phones including the K-JAM/MDA Vario, the battery is meant to be charged till its full, and no more. If you overcharge it, you run the risk of damaging your battery and possibly the phone too.
If a new battery hasn't fixed your problem, the problem lies in your phone's mainboard.
Try charging your phone from a USB port on a computer to see if anything happens.

after going from overcome1.2 back to modaco (gps didnt work), my tab didnt boot any more, stuck at samsung logo.
no recovery mode, but download mode worked.
I tried to use odin with several roms, the last I tried was roto-JMI-full-v2.
I put the "Roto-JMI-Full-v2.tar" in PDA, PHONE and CSC (maybe that was wrong? the tutorial wasnt clear), hit start.
it failed somewhere in the middle.
it was stuck at the yellow triangle screen, but now I think the battery is dead!
it's connected to the original samsung wall charger, but keeps rebooting every 2-3 seconds.
holding power, power+volumedown, power+volumeup doesnt do anything.
only power+ both volume buttons, it says "POWER RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE" before rebooting again.

the timespan it was on (now 2-3 secs) was a little longer (6 secs?) an hour ago, which made me notice that pulling the cable let it turn off immediately...
any ideas?

I connected it to the pc, it started to work again after like 10-15 minutes! just keep it there, even if for an hour!

Never had this happened to me b4. Removing battery wont help either. Tried diff battery and power cable. Its just dead. Soft reseting wont work either
Any ways to fix this myself? Is it the power supply?
I have the same problem, I was downloading the stock firmware on my note 4 while charging, I went to check if it was done downloading but it was frozen, I couldn't get to the lock screen just a black screen with the red notification light, I removed the battery but since then it won't turn on nor charge. I know it's not the battery cuz it works fine on another n4. The weird thing is that I was also downloding the same file on my computer and it was frozen too it didn't finish the download just like my phone,.
This is the first time that something like this happened to me, it wasn't over heating or anything so I have no idea why it won't turn on.
hey everyone...i got the Storm 2-3 months back and since today its not turning on...i restarted it and since then it hasnt been turnin on at all...i kept it in charge for 3-4 hours straight and all i get is the RED LED light and thats all...device does not vibrate or anything. Please can someone help me out.

You tried to push volume down and power together for a longer time? (20 seconds) I think there is another thread with a similar problem already here.
I didnt post there because its named as battery drain....i had 68 percent battery..and yes i tried that method still wont work

I've had this happen a few times and it has the symptoms of the phone thinking the battery is flat even when it can be fully charged.
I've found that by trying to turn it on say 10 times then waiting a few minutes then repeating this process, eventually the mobile will turn on.
Did u do it while it was plugged in or like normally...plus even if i try turning on it dosent vibrate or show anything...aooo shud i just blankly do it?

I think I've started it with it plugged in and other times unplugged if I know it had a well charged battery, and managed eventually to get it to start. Sometimes it's taken a lot of attempts and sometimes it's started after a few.
Each time I press the power button the Wileyfox logo flashes up, I release the power button and then the display will go blank again. However sometimes the logo will remain displayed and then the phone will boot up. I haven't been able to understand what happens as it seems completely random with no pattern to the cause as far as I can tell.
atleast you had that...i dont have anything at all..i tried to open up the device as i heard there is a problem with the battery connector...but im failing to do that as well...I even tried it unplugged to turn it on...nothing is happening..
Hello, a while ago a had a problem with a phone in some cases my phone just started reboot and stuck on "Samsung" logo then restarted again. In another way, the screen had weird rainbow lines on screen then phone stuck.
Last couple days I had another rainbow lines on screen in reboot screen. Then screen turned off and blue indicator stays on, it was like that till battery drained off.
I couldn't do anything when it happens. After charging phone I made restart by pressing power+volume down and again it had the same problem as before.
It means my phone dead? time to buy the new one? or there is a way to fix that?
