How to wake up XDA II with own software from the power off mode?
I have tried everything except a TAPI call, because we need to use XDA II when GSM is disabled. Stuff that i have tested are:
1. http://www.pocketpcdn.com/sections/power.html
2. SetSystemPowerState
3. CeRunAppAtTime
4.CeRunAppAtEvent
5. CeSetUserNotificationEx
have you solve the problem
I need to wake up my pocket pc programmatically, do you have some advise for me, i have test 2 all the application you describe and then i found this forum.
If you have found a solution pls provide me.

Try to search this. "power schedule"
Power schedule can be poweron-off devices/bluetooth and wifi
with 7day in week or daily.
So easy to use and stable.I'm used and tested for long time ago.
It's worked fine for my xdaII/xdaIIi and xdaii mini.

Does anyone else have this problem? I answer the call by pressing green handset button but the calling party and myself cannot hear each other for about 3 to 4 seconds....
I ahve ahd some callers who were about to give up just as we were evntualy able to talk. If this is a fault, then I need to get it looked at under warranty.

Long shot, I know, but - do you have Towa's Bluetooth Tools installed? They can cause such behaviour.
Cheers
Daniel
I have the same issue, the work around is not to answer until the third ring!
The problem only occured for me after loading imates 1.72 rom on my XDAII

I did have pocket bluetooth tools installed and have now uninstalled it.
I had it installed because it turns on bluetooth on an incoming call and is handy when using the Jabra 250.
However it follows that maybe the delay is causd by this very switching on of BT so I'll report back when it's had a good testing.
The ROM I am running is not the newest one quoted in the second reply and if this is a side effect of installing that rom then I will stay as I am...boy does that delay bug me
thnx all
Ok all...problem solved...it was the bluetooth tolls that cause it...uninsatlled ans now no delay.
Thanks all for your help
I also experience delay, but i cannot uninstall pocket bloutooth tools because then my BT GPS won't work anymore
Is there a way to disable this headset functionality in pocket bluetooth tools because i don't need it, I only need com port for BT GPS... Is there any alternative solution for MDA-II ?
Tnx in advance,
Davor
I installed 5.3 on JasJar and it works.
I noticed it doesn't activate 'viration', while bluetooth (ms option not widdcomm) works well and headset option is with no mean: bluetooth option when on activate also headset.
It would be good if you can fix vibration.

That's real nice of you to share that, BUT... this is the WALLABY section. This is the place where we have to make do with our Wallabys because some of us don't have a $1000-$1200 to drop on a 4 pound phone. Not to metion we are not running WM 5.0, so please give us something that can help us with what we have.
Moved to the universal forum ....

Nice comment Shane...though given you're on a Wallaby I doubt you'll read this. I suspect the only reason for the post in the W section is cos noone's thought to rehouse the PZP section anywhere else!!
Anyway, I bought PZP a few months back and now use the latest beta on the Exec...works a treat. Haven't noticed the issue you mention, will have to check it out.
May I suggest, x-d admins, that the option of giving PZP it's own area(with different OS sections) so that Zendrui can support things better?

Hi Everybody,
First of all I would like to extend my ultimate gratefulness to all the people who are maintaining this wonderful forum. I had solved many a problems of my O2 Mini from many of the threads in the forum. I had registered to this forum some time back but till date never had put up a post as I am not a developer (just consider myself as an advance user) to contribute anything worthwhile and everything I need to know is always somewhere here. Anyway thanks a lot again to all you guys.
Now I have a problem which I haven't been able to find the solution for. I have a O2 XDA Mini (HTC Magician as per this forum), upgraded with big storage O2 ROM 1.12 / 1.12 from this forum, 512 MB SD and loaded with a variety of softwares as per my requirements from time to time. I had been using the phone perfectly for some time after the ROM upgrade but the problem right now is that I am not able to hear any sound during incoming / outgoing calls. The SMS works well. At other times, the sound works normally for all other uses. I had also installed the BT s/w for both bluesoleil as well as widcomm found here.
I would be very grateful to anybody can give me the solution to the problem and any links where the solutions to the problems are given. Thanx a lot again.
Regards,
Gyan
If the problem happened after installing other BT drivers, then try uninstalling them.
Hi Zerimar,
Thanx for the suggestion but it still doesn't work. I have even done a hard reset. Do I need to change the ROM.
Regards,
Gyan
You mentioned everything worked fine for a while after the ROM upgrade, before you started having the problem ... so I don't think it's the ROM upgrade. Was there a particular app you install prior to the problem that could've caused it? It's very rare the phone will lose incoming/ outgoing sound. It almost sounds like a H/W problem more than a S/W problem.
I recall one instance and that's with respect to the A2DP hack. It happened to a few users including myself.
I forgot to mention that the sound is working fine with earphones.

Defn sounds like a hardware problem them. Have you ever dropped the phone?
Today I was in this computer where clients are able to touch and test the equipments. I went to the PDA section and I tested the bluetooth menus and options available on HTC touch cruise and another one I dont recall (p34 something). I was surprized to see an option on the bluetooth menu which said "Time until BT goes invisible". And then a drop down list from where u could choose from none (always active) until a couple of hours. This said I wonder why cant they put an option like that on hermes? I mean, everytime I go into suspend mode the bluetooth goes invisible and only my headset can find the PDA! Hermes is an HTC best seller I cant see why they dont support it anymore, it's such a powerful device
We only need a short program for this. I think Dr. Yaar Bluetooth is being popular on the forum. Well I never give it a try but surely we can do such type of function to work.
