Qtek ROM and UK Radio stack

Anyone tested Qtek Rom 3.16 and O2 Radio Stack 4.16 together?

Hi, i am using QTEC Radio stack 3.9 and Dutch ROM 3.15.15 together without any problems, if this helps?

Qtek ROM 3.14 and Radio 4.16
Yeah, I intsalled Radio version 4.16 and after that tried to install the new ROM 3.14.17 ENG but the installer simply would not work... no errors nothing... just vanishes after saying it was getting device info?!?!?? So now I have ROM 3.14.06 ENG working with Radio version 4.16... God knows how I can get the latest ROM installed on my Qtek 1010 and where to find the stuff on the net. MYXDA.com need you to enter the IMEI number and mine is no O2 XDA Anyone on this one?

I've tried this now, works fine.
I downloaded the Radiostack upgrade from O2.
They accepted mine IMEI code anyway.

did anyone try to upgrade Radio Rom 4.16 with the following:
ROM Version: 3.16.13 ENG
Radio Version: 3.19.01
I mean i was reading that you upgraded the Radio ROM only and it worked fine but the versions you mentioned are diffrent then mine and tell me if your having problem with 4.16 ...

I have upgrade to UK versions the radio stock updated but the radio unit give me error and now I have 3.16.13 ENG and 4.16.00
I test the phone it seems working fin.
Any idea so I can update the unit??

Help: Upgrade QTEK 900/1900

I have tried to read and understand how to upgrade my PocketPC phone, but unfortunately I am still confused:
I have non branded Microsoft "qtek" phone modelW10B1 (GSM 900/1900) with
ROM VERSION: 3.14.P6 ENG
ROM DATE: 09/26/02
Radio version: 6.18
Protocol version 324e4
Where to find the correct upgrade files?
or can someone kindly send them to me?
I would appreciate ANY help in this matter...

ROM is not the point. You can cook your ROM from the kitchen here. But the radio stack is so critical since you are using 900/1900. You better get the last update from your network provider or at least ask some one who's using the same network.

T-Mo: How and where to downgrade Radio Stack.

A few words from newbie (it's me): I own T-Mo advanced (64Mb) since October 2003, it was bought in Moscow. It had a ROM 3.16-007 ENG and native Radio version (I forgot its exact number) from Czech/Slovak. After I had successfully upgraded my T-Mo ROM up to 4.00.21 ENG, I dnloaded from yorch.net and installed upgrade RSU 4.21.00. Pprotocol is 32S54. And now I stupidly stopped – I cannot obtain the sign “G” appears on the screen. There is no possibility to setup gprs connections on my T-Mo.
Should I downgrade to the original Radio Stack to original or not? I have no idea where to get some help in Russia. And where to pick up these files for downloading? Please gimme some X-Mas advice? Thank in advance.

The desion of this problem appeared simple: Restore! ROM
using OSImage tool I transferred previous ROM onto 256 Mb SD-Card, and then thru bootloader I restored it as main OS on my T-Mo.
Now I have
ROM version: 3.14.02 ENG 09/27/02
Radio version: 4.21
Protocol 32S54.
Ready to ppresent my ROM to whom it may be interestin. 14,5 Mb in zip-archive

How to downgrade RSU or can we do cross version flashing?

hi all,
anyone know how to downgrade radio stack (RSU)?
My O2 XDA is PW10A 900/1800mhz, ROM is A.30.09 ENG, RSU 4.21.00.
The current RSU seems unstable and many said older version more stable (4.01).
Where can i download the old version?

Try Yorch.net ... but be careful as there are many sad stories here about people tried RSU flashing while having this 4.21

if you want 900/1800 then you cant use an US radio stack
on yorch the tmobile is called us tmobile
and i think that AT&A are also only in US
if you use a us radiostack you can only use 900Mhz

so..what's the best RSU for 900/1800 and where can I download it?

is cross version flashing possible?
e.g. we flash 4.21.00 (o2) to 6.25.00 (t-mobile) then flash it to 4.16.00 (o2)?
i remembered i flash to 6.25.00 once and reflash it to 4.21.00, but cant remember the steps.
any suggestion?

Qtek 1010 RSU

Hi,
I have a small problem and I don't know what to do.
As I disovered romkitchen I started to upgrade my qotek 1010 and now I see that on the back of my device it is written that it's a PW10A2 model and in my device information it is said that I have PW10B1.
As far sa I know PW10A2 means that I have a device 900/1800 and PW10B1 means 900/1900.
Is it very bad?
How should I deal with it?
my actual rom ver is 4.02.04 ENG and radio ver is 3.19.01 ( which I have also upgreaded before I'd read that it is better not to do so )

The naming in the ROM are fixed and do not depend on the real hardware settings. But that do not matter in using the device....
