You are connected to activesync when installing? Are you running the latest version of activesync? I have installed tomtom 2 on several xda2 and xda1.

Hi I have a problem with my XDA11 whilst trying to upgrade my navigator 3 software to navigator 5......
After I load the main program upgrade and then try to install the map disc one my pc ( desk top XP Profesional os ) it come up with tempory folder full, does'nt say if it it the pc or the xda11.
I have gone into all the temp folders on the pc and emptied them and it had not resolved the problem and I cant find any in the search function on the xda
Any ideas??
Its a genuine copy of the Tom Tom software as well and there are no contact details on there sites including e-mail links

Cant see any other person having this problem from my searches and topics here.
I am trying to load tomtom5 from a disc. it is the same one i used in my xda2 but it will not load on my XDA exec.
I have tried to copy to the card and run but that will not work it says not a correct application.
I have 5 and 5.1 update on disc which worked on the xda2.
Neither will load to the Exec
I load the disc to pc select uk then select install but it immediadtely brings up the error message with the send to microsoft option.
Dont understand this as it worked on the xda11.
Any ideas?

get the 5.2 update from tomtom, install it, copy the voice files from you
v5 cd to tomtom dir in root "/", copy the maps to your mmc.
it worked for me
was the 5+5.1 known to not work then?
I had the same problems
Could not install from cd either whereas had no problems with my xda2-managed to use updat 5.2 but could not activate software via the gprs connection. ihad to get anew activation code from tom tom. this worked. i don't think version 5 is as good as version 3 and i wish i hadn't upgraded as not only are there more errors on the maps but it takes my new xda a lot longer to connect to the gps receiver.we found loads of mistakes when using the new version 5 on the xda2 in the summer when touring tom tom kept taking us to roads whichwere still under construction and couln't be used. we did tell support about this but i don't find them particularly helpful

my v5 cd crashed the computer when useing active sync 4.x same with 5.1. update....
5.2 installed ok.

I have followed the instructions and edited the default.ini and added P2577V351=ARM under the [Platforms] section.
I went to install from the console to the pocketpc and it hangs on destinator.lnk
Has anyone got Destinator 3 working with WM5 on JasJar ?
I would like to install manually including maps of Australia....anyone ?

hi new to this i have a compaq ipaq 3760 with a bluetooth sleeve and a 1 gig card i did have tt5 working but thought i would upgrade to 6 followed all installing instructions but when i press on today screen i get this message
cannot find tomtom navigator{or one of its components}make sure the path and filename are correct and all the requied libraries are available.
no i have tried to reinstall several time and get same and i cant go back to tt5 as cant find the files anywere be much appreciated if anyone could help thank you bob
Probably it is pointing at a wrong path. Just to double check, try starting your Tomtom on your "Program Files" see if it works if you start with via other means.

can i install tom tom 6 on my ppc . my processor:arm sa1110 . also my memory is 31.15 MB.
I’m using an htc tytn ii and trying to install tomtom navigation software version 7 there on but getting the error “Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it has not been digitally signed by a trusted certificate” where after the instalation shuts down. I’ve tried the tomtom software on my tytn with the same result. Any help?
I’ve already tried the file default-signed-disablesecurity.zip as well as turning off the appropriate messages with kaiser tweak with out any success. the tytn ii uses windows mobile 6 and the tytn windows mobile 5 just for some extre information in case it’s necessary

2nd, i had no problem installing TT7 on my Universal w/ WM6. Yes, it *****ed about Unsigned code but I selected OK and it installed just fined. Perhaps u downloaded a bad copy of TT7. Use the 7.450 version.
