 May I know how many SMS, MMS can I keep in my INBOX, Is any any size limitation in XDA II.
Only limits are those imposed by your storage memory.
XDA II has 128mb built-in RAM which is shared between programs and data. If you have an SD or MMC card, obviously you gain that storage space too, and you can use it to store your messages if you want (there's a setting within the inbox I think).

I have suddenly discovered that my 512 MB storage card is down to about 15 MB available, although the visible files don't remotely account for this memory usage. A utility does show two very large apparently mail-related databases, that together account for about 320 MB. These are pmailMsgs in volume cemail.vol and ReplStor in volume \ReplStorVol. While I don't know for sure, I assume these are on the storage card and not in main memory. What are these and can they safely be deleted or shrunken?
I am running WM5 and BBConnect, have no stored SMS, MMS or non-Blackberry e-mail and only about 11 e-mails in the Blackberry store. If something else might be eating up the storage card memory, I would of course be interested in that as well.
My phone memory is full, and more than likely its because of the large amount of messages I have stored on the phone. Is there a way to store my messages on my storage card instead of on my phone?
copy them as notes (txt files) on the storage card. I believe there may be an option to save messages (might be only attachments) to the storage card. May depend on your rom...
is there some sort of hack to save messages to my storage card?
Since Xperia does not have a lot of memory to spare, it is best to save all data on the storage card. So is there a program or registry tweaks I can use to change the default locations for:
1. Ringtones
2. Emails/SMS/MMS
3. My Documents
4. Opera cache, history, cookies, etc
5. Default storage for bluetooth file transfers
6. Any other storage option I have missed out on that can transferred to the card
hahahahahaha seriously not enough space on the phone. I was getting by with just 3mb left on my P990i by the time I had filled. At present I've still got 150mb left on my X1 and ringtones, email, sms, opera won't fill that up.
Guys. I have a question about synchronizing an exchange mailbox. With my former phone, the Blackstone, I was used to set the registry tweaks for the path where the mails were stored on the storage card. But those tweaks don't work with the Leo because the storage card is initialized in a different way. So when those tweaks are enabled, my storage card becomes storage card2. Is there a way to make this work or make sure the mails are stored at the storage card in a, before specified, directory?
Do you mean
Inbox>Menu>Tools>Options> and at the bottom storage
and tick the box, (when available use this storage card to store the attachments)
??
Yeah, well partly this is what I was looking for. But it now only stores the attachments on the storage card not the mails. And I like to store the mails on that place as well.
I have a problem with pop email on win. mobile 6.5. It (outlook)seems to be taking up phone memory rather than micro card memory. For the life of me, I can't seem to be able to reconfigure it so that it stores on the storage card and not phone memory.
It's now malfunctioning as phone memory is reaching peak utilisation. Can anyone instruct me as to how I can get this reconfigured so that mails are held in a folder on the storage card???
you need to go to the account option within Pocket Outlook, and there is one option to store the attachements in the SD card.

Hi there. It's not the attachments that are causing the problem - it's the actual mails themselves. I hardly have any mails with attachments - and in any event, have selected that option that you mention. There just doesn't seem to be an option to move the actual mails themselves to SD card storage...?
Hi, No option to move the emails to sd card.
The only you can do is limit it size and sync shorter period of time.
The phone is not made to download the whole inbox, I had mine set to 20 Kb max size and 4 weeks a sync and had no storage problems.

Ok, thanks. Have 2 x email accounts associated with outlook on the phone. I have reduced them down to 1 days worth - but maybe I will change this to max kb restriction instead.
I the meantime, I looked at what other 'crud' I could get rid of - not much to go on until I found temp i-net files - that cleared 30mb - can't believe there was so much in that - as only use the browser for webmail access 99% of the time.
Seems to have done the trick for now...
