JABRA BT200
Hi,
I also have problems with my JABRA BT200, sometimes it answers a call and sometimes it loses the connection to my XDA 2. I read in some forum that the JABRA with firmware less then 43B have a lot of problems.

XDA II - Jabra 250 and TomTom Bluetooth GPS

Hi
I recently bought the XDA II, and TomTom Bluetooth GPS, got it all working no problem ROM version 1.66.181.
Ive just ordered a Jabra 250 bluetooth headset, however someone told me that you cannot use the bluetooth GPS and the bluetooth headset at the same time.
Is this true ?, if so is there a fix for this.
Cheers
jabra + bt gps.
works fine here, occasionally you get cracking on the headset audio
Works fine for me too.
Make sure you install the bluetooth patch.
One caveat here that I found was that the order you create the bondings seemed to matter for me. When I had the Jabra installed first then did the TomTom gps, the headset didn't work. When I unbonded then rebonded the Jabra (leaving the gps in place) everything works great.

Nokia CK 7W bluetooth carkit and qtek 2020 or XDAII

Hello,
Apparenlty does the bluetooth carkit Nokia CK-7W supports all bluetooth phones that have BT Handsfree profile.
Does the qtek support this Bluetooth Handsfree profile or does it supports only the headset profile.
or are they the same BT profile?
Thanks
sorry....
You wonn't be able to use it....although you can pair it the profiles don't match.
I own a bluetooth Nokia CK-1W carkit (has the same problem) and it's been difficult to use with my Qtek.
But for now i can receive calls via carkit. Better then nothing at all (if you don't want to remove the carkit).
You must install the Pocket Bluetooth Tools http://www.angeltowns.com/town/bluetooth/
Install it and delete any paired device you have.
Pair up with the carkit and select HEADSET profile.
Then, when the phone rings, bluetooth turns on automaticaly and pairs up with the carkit, then you press the Nokia button and talk.
It works for receiving calls through loudspeaker only.
I've contacted the author of the Pocket Bluetooth Tools and he already knows this bug and should be fixed next release.
Thanks for your answers.
Apparently this new nokia carkit has the pretency to be universal.
If the BTtools can help older carkits, I suppose we can expect that we may make this new one work with the qtek.
Or you can try the Ericssion HCB-30. I have that installed and it works everytime. Now all I need to figure out is how to boost the antenna power of the XDA unit
he HCB 30 works fine. I'm testing now a techart carkit.
Does any one have tested this nokia carkit?
This could be a very good alternative for BT carkits.

Help! BT headset and BT works on XDA2 but not XDA2i

I bought a XDA2i to find my JabraBT200 is very crackly when used on it and even though my Fortuna Clip-on BT GPS will bond with it, it will not connect in the bluetooth manager area. Both these worked great with my XDA2. Is there software I can download to fix this?

Click to collapse
this is a known issue, not every BT headset can fit in for widcomm BT stack. sigh......................
Has there been any progess in sorting out Jabra 200(and others I believe) not working with xDA2i?
Mine seems to transmit audio but won't answer phone automatically or manually.
Not sure which it should do.
Any Ideas please... :?:
I had this problem after I installed Tomtom 3. I found that the tomtom bluetooth stack wasn't compatable with most bluetooth headsets. I found that if bluetooth was turned on when installing Tomtom this problem was overcome as the stack couldn't be "updated".

XDA + JABRA bluetooth headset

I have a XDA mini and bought a BT JABRA bluetooth headset - they recognise each other but when i try and call or listen to music through it there is no response from either. It is also the case with my pc.
Do i need a software update?
I have searched the forums and done my research but am utterly bemused by it all - help would be much appreciated
