RomKitchen scripts? PLEASE! - MDA, XDA, 1010 Software Upgrading

I tried to revive an old thread a while back asking where I can download the RomKitchen scripts, but no one bit on it. Please, someone tell me where I can find them?
Thanks,
Josh

You can get all of them from the XDA-Developers Demo kitchen or from the Yorch kitchen.......

Interesting!
What form is the ROM image (.bin, .nbf etc.)?
Ditto that question Qman!
Can you send us a copy and we'll tinker with it?
WM2003 NBF file
Hi,
The form of rom is NBF.
Thanks
How can we get a copy so we can work on it? Do you have an FTP? You can email it to me if your email server will allow such a large attachment, mine will.

Where did you find pnewbmp.exe?
I'm sorry, but I don't have an answer. Perhaps the BMP is in the wrong format. When using mkrom the bootimage.bmp needs to be saved as 16-bit, R5G6B5 and Flip row order. The only progam I've heard of that can do it is Photoshop 7.
search in xda developers page for Rapi tool, thanks anyways i'll try that, otherwise if anybody has more answers please do share
Does anybody have the compiled version of pnewbmp.exe. I tried to get it through the link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=4875&highlight=rapi but the link for the compiled verion appears stale.

SUCCESS.....mostly.
I do get the "success" message. I can write to the extended ROM. I can copy application folders to it. I can create shortcuts to those apps and run them.
I can NOT see it in any file explorer other than Total Commander, where it has to be typed in. It does not otherwise show up. It does not show up in memory setting. Therefore I have no idea how big it is. I can NOT install applications directly to the extended ROM. I can only copy/move their files/folders to it.
So....it's a pretty damn good start....Good going Buzz.
Anything else I can try to make it more visible?
Dave
COOL, it is WORKING!
i'll give you a cab to unhide tomorrow or inane may already have it...
It is pretty easy.

Programms for cook a rom!!!!!????

hi
i want cook a rom.
what for "PROGRAMMS" i need for cook a rom??
BIG THX
I am interested too
Hello Everyone,
I am interested too, what software do I need to cook a Windows Mobile ROM?
no offense, but cooking a rom would take a LOT more time and brainpower than simply searching the forums to find out how to do it.
if you dont have the skills to find out, you don't have the skills to do it.
Funny

You have no idea of my background.
Resources or links would be helpful. You had to learn too, Skylinepigeon. We all crawl before walking, and all walk before running. Including you, Skylinepigeon
Thank you,

Here what I did:
- Download kitchen from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=628948
- Download Tmo US Leo 2.10 rom from here http://www.4shared.com/dir/22189940/b8552fa0/Shipped_Leo_ROMs.html
- Extract RUU_Signed_0409.nbh
- Open the kitchen and dump nbh file.
Now you have everything to Cook your own rom.

Actually I beg to differ, never cooked a ROM before now, and I already got WinMo 6.5.5 ported with sense in a matter of minutes, not as hard as you make it sound

With the TMOUS Leo 2.10, what's the diffence between "...ship.part1.rar" and "...ship.part2.rar"?
Also, Ship_pkgs.7z for the LEO seems to be TOPAZ. So, which one is the LEO...?
I didnt mean it that way, tbh, I have no clue about rom cooking, I've just gotten sick of all the idiots who come posting about "WHERE IS ANDROID????" and "WHY IS MY PHONE BRICKED!!!!" who obviously did no research at all before starting. sorry if i rubbed you the wrong way.

You need two parts to extract file, then you get .exe file, then extract that .exe file again, you get RUU_signed.nbh.
Now you just import RUU_signed.nbh and cook your own rom.
I use ervius's visual kitchen. Here's a link to one I threw up last night using the stock rom from TMOUS...
[ Kitchen ] [ 3-31 ] [ v0.1 ] [21889] RSToyGuy's TMO.US Kitchen
Not all pretty and stuff, but it works for me!

That is absolute BS. I am sorry you don't have the "brainpower" to provide an answer. Take your negative attitude elsewhere.

He already responded and apologized... Reading everyone's posts before you hit reply is a good thing, generally.
how exactly do i extract the RUU_signed.nbh?
UPDATE: I got it, for anyone that may be wondering the same thing I was having trouble with, open the downloaded .exe from with an archive editor (7-zip, or winRAR) and extract the RUU_signed.nbh.
Are you guys dumping the default T-Mobile ROM? I keep getting errors when I try to do that....

solved - issues with 3.02 HD2 packages

hi folks
hope someone can help with this.
i'm trying to update some of the packages in my kitchen to the new 3.02 packages i've got from mobile underground.
downloaded ok but they are not converting to ext and keep crashing my kitchen
it doesnt help that i've just updated resently from my old EVK so i'm still not 100% on the new one... currently giving DIY kitchen a try, does anyone know if there is anything specific i need to watch out for? or something i'm missing
failing that does anyone have working packages they would be willing to share?
many thanks
