Does the 4.0.0.5 (WM2003) ROM that can be download use only Programme A (The software ROM), or does it also use Programme B (The radio stack), because I want to upgrade but, if the radio stack ****s up, then no more XDA.
I have tried once before, but it will be locked (white screen) till tomorrow night, when i finally BOOTLOAD from my MMC which has been away from me.
no the roms from yorchs kitchens are program A's the Windows CE bit not the RADIO

I’ve bought AT&T Siemens SX56 with SE ROM 1.2. On the back cover I see that device is PW10B1, but in Settings/System/Device Info/Identity I see that device is PW10A1. Strange but actually it doesn’t matter until it works properly. ROM: 3.17.03 ENG (05/15/03), Radio: 6.12 (GSM 900/1800), boot loader: 5.15.
Now it comes: I cannot upgrade it to MW2003 neither by using NBF not NB1 method. I used ROM kitchens, Siemens’s official upgrades (extracted NBF file from archive).I used T-mobile/O2/AT&T ROMS. I used Activesync and SD card methods = NO F.... RESULTS!!!
All times after upgrade I see splash screen and that’s all! (all times different screens depends on ROM types) No further boot. It stuck on splash screen until battery ran down...

I suddenly have no USB recognition of my 8125 by my computer, and when plugged in to charger, no charging light comes on. Also phone won't come up when I hit the green key. Also menu selections are incredibly slow.
This occurred following successful ROM upgrade to: Cingular_Custom_AKU2.3_Combo_Installer_V1,
then downgraded to: CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE,
ran Lokiwiz U & C again,
then attempted to install Shogun_A_La_Carte_Cingular_WWE_2
After hard reset, startup screen shows
IPL 1.01
SPL 1.01
OS 2.26.10.2
(no radio listed at all!)
I'm sure I've made an error somewhere (before I get chastised - I have read and read and searched and searched before I even ATTEMPTED my first custom ROM upgrade, and have done so successfully a number of times prior to this)
I would appreciate useful comments and help from anyone.
I can't try to install a new ROM because I don't have a USB connection.
Your IPL/SPL should be version 2.xx when you are to flash shogunmark's ROM... his ROM doesn't contain the bootloaders...
I presume that you had CID-unlocked your ROM, so now, flash to your carrier's latest ROM and then upgrade to Shogunmark's ROM...

I was able to start the bootloader, then USB connection worked again to PC, then able install CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE again.
Hi i have 2 part question my phone is an htc 8125 cingular sim card unlocked phone it has windows mobile 5 on it and i have the IPL 1.05, SPL.3.08 on it.
I did this but installing the IPL_SPL_3.08 rom. Anyways Im trying to get it back to IPL 1.05, and SPL 1.05 by installing the button rom and i seen the beer screen and it loads up to windows mobile 5 but keeps staying at IPL 1.05, and SPL 3.08 is there away to get it back to 1.05,1.05. I tried a few methods but aint working. Would keep reflashing a few times with the button roms get it back to 1.05,1.05. I tried with, newromupdateutility_wizard_noid. and didnt work i tried with rom update and didnt work. When a rom loads up and gets stuck at 99% and then i get a message with activesync saying lost communication error message whats does that mean and it saying try restore.
Also can windows mobile 6 with touch flo install on this phone or no. I was tring to do that with but all i got was it going back to windows mobile 5 and doesnt upgrade to wm6. Do i first need it to get it back to 1.05,1.05 using the button rom then use ,lokiwiz02b to do the unlocking(mind you my phone is all ready sim unlocked). and then flash a t-mobile or cingualr rom and then do the update with a windows mobile6 rom.
Whats a good windows mobile 6 with touch flo that works good on this phone can u maybe post a link

First,you shud have CID unlocked the phone prior to upgrading to 3.08 bootloaders,cuz it becomes very difficult and frustrating to downgrade from 3.08 to 1.xx.Now the only way is to first try to downgrade to 2.xx by flashing the official carrier's rom and when completed downgrade to 1.xx through Button's 1.05.You can only CID unlock the phone,if its 1.xx,which you already know.
Secondly,it'll only upgrade to wm6 if its cid unlocked.Try to flash ipl/spl 3.08 again and make both ipl/spl 3.08 first and then downgrade to 2.xx by flashing the official stock rom,it might work.

First thing, i will say what i done and where am i with Ruu.
I hard spl with 1.11 from PDA all soft working after then i flash it with 5 software and all have the same problem. Windows mobile image apears but remains in it... can't go forward.
Second i download RUU_Pharos_HTC_WWE-ME_1.11.456.1_4.1.13.59_03.15.90_BLUE_Ship and others original firmwares, but now it remains on Smart Mobility image and say
ONBL 2.05.0000
SPL 2.05.0000
GSM 03.37.90
OS 2.5.0.0
and i can't flash with any soft upgrade, because it work's 2% and restart, and RUU tool say check your update tool...Hard spl don't work anymore
just remains at this step..nothing happed...
Can i revive my Pharos? or i can go to trash and drop him there? (

You installed a ROM with a packaged SPL 2.x (2.05.0000 in your case), but AFAIK there isn't any patch for SPL versions higher than 1.11, so you can't flash anymore with any ROM. You're locked with your last ROM. You can try to ask for a patch, but i think that's not easy to obten a valid answer. You can also try to make this patch, but... good luck

Wend I power on the device it goes directly to bootloader and

I dont remember what it was befor I try to flash a WM 6.5 rom on it.
It as a WM 6.1 in Portuguese Rom befor my attent.
I cannot power off the device by pressing the button but have to take
the battery.
I already try to change the rom, the SPl and put everything inside just
to try to move from were I am but no results.
Began to update but ends or in 1% or in 7% and loose the connection.
The device connects to the PC but in PC in WM device center nothing happens.
I try Win7 and also XP.
I went to HTC site to download the official portuguese ROM but there are no
ROM to download.
So I´m dead on the water.
I will apreciate very much any kind of input that take me out
of were I´m now.
I´m not a expert as you already notice.Please keep it simple.
