Very URGENT! Info ROM 2002-2003 upgrade!!!

I’ve downloaded:
Version 4.20.0 (Build 13252)
RSU 6.24.01
From the ftp server
Can I upgrade my XDA I PPC2002 with this new rom?
Any problems reported with NOT T-Mobile carriers?
Stability problems reported?
News about O2 PPC 2003 update??

Do you mean you downloaded 4.00.21 Tmobile. I am not aware of any ROM higher than 4.01.00 Tmobile. As long as you back up your device and DO NOT use an .exe to upgrade, you should be fine to experiment.

i'd like to know WHERE u got that 'long awaited' upgrade??

Yes, it does with mine. I am using O2 Xda with AT&T Rom with 4.21 radio

I`m not sure, but isn´t the 4.21 RSU for 900/1800 Mhz GSM?
Normaly In the USA the XDA have a 6.xx RSU for 900/1900Mhz GSM....
So i suppose, it will work for 9000Mhz providers in the USA...

Sorry, I am using 900/1800MHz. I didn't read carefully that you will use it in US which is 1900 MHz. This will not be usable in US for sure because of different in band.

Long time ago I flashed my XDA with the 4.00.11 ENG rom cooked.
I don't find this version anymore.
So could you tell me which is the best rom (Siemens rom or rom cooked at yorch's ..?) actually and which is the best/last radio stack (i'm in france) I have the 4.21

best rom out is vA.30.09 AT&T official 2003 release
i use o2s v4.21 radio very fast rom and works fine much better then v4.11.00

I see there is the official siemens Rom which seems very good too ..?

v4.01.00 seemed extreamly slow and sluggish but stable the AT&T rom is just as stable but about 200 times faster lol much more better

Latest ROM & Radio upgrade for Wallaby

Dear all,
This is the latest upgrade for the Wallaby device XDA I (since there will be no WM2003SE supported anymore)
The ROM version is A.30.09 ENG Siemens

Should be the same one. But it is the original file, and it includes the Radio stack. (that is useless for 900/1800 MHz devices....)

It is so old for year 2005!
All of us have this version in early of 2004! it was on Siemens website.

cgigate I know its too old, but its the original Siemens A.30.09 ROM, which is NO LONGER available on Siemens website !!!!
I consider this ROM is much better than the T-Mobile one's, since it has very few bugs compared to T-Mobile's ROM
and since there is no WM2003SE for XDA ,, then this ROM is the latest for this device!

i downloaded the file and while trying to upgrade it gave me an error that the model is incompatible.
if i try to flash it will it work?

I'm looking to upgrade to the latest T-mobile USA RSU. The latest I have found is RU 6.24.00 on yorch.net but I've been reading through the forums and I believe there is a newer one. I get terrible reception on my XDA and I'm in south florida. Can anyone request a different RSU or the latest from T-mobile? Thanks in advance...

Thanks for the site. I downloaded 6.25.02 but I have not installed it yet. Anyone use this RSU yet? Hows the reception with it compared to others?
