Please help,
XDAunlock will not work with ROM 4.01.16 ENG, ROM DATE 02/04/04, RADIO version 6.25.02? (T-mobile, USA)

yes, XDAunlock not work with RADIO version 6.25.02.
but I have tools to unlock it!

Has anybody figured out how to unlock this?

Has anyone tried to downgrade the ROM and the Radio stack to see if this the XDAUnlock works.
I'm curious to see if I will run into Radio Stack problems if I attempt to do that.

How are you trying to unlock?
With your ROM version you can only try the xda manupulatr and a serial cable.
If you want to use the xdaunlock tool you need an ROM with the wmodem function.,....

Unlocking does not depemd on the Bootloader. Which Radio Stack have you currently installed?

After following this process handset is just searching i mean its not catching network but of cource the handset is unlocked is there any remedy for network also?
i hav done exactly the same

On which network do you want to use the device? Itßs just 900/1900 MHz capable....

no signals after unlocking PW10A1

i got O2 Xda Pocket PC PW10A1 for unlocking. i got
ROM: 3.17.03 ENG
Wallaby booatloader: 5.22
first i downgrade bootloader 5.15. then i flash it with special_rom_1.2 then reprogram the radio to 6.24. first i unlocked the device with xdaunlock.exe. i inserted sim card but no signals on set. i have tried many tricks like i flash with original rom even with different roms but no successful. i have no backup of bootloader and rom.
right now device information is
ROM version: 3.17.03 Eng
ROM date: 05/15/03
Radio version: 6.24.00
Protocol version 32e4
booatloader: 5.15
need help as soon as possilbe

You have installed the wrong RSU-VErsion. 6.xx are for PW10B-devices that uses 900/1900 Mhz. You have to install a 4.xx Version

Information about changing ROM's (unlocked T-Mobile G1)

I want to change ROM on T-Mobile G1 but I am afraid of lost the unclock. I bought it unlocked from ebay. I have red the guide for downgrading and flashing new rom but am not sure that I will be able to use it with my operator (orange). I was searching on forum but found very confusing informations Please answer what can I do.
Running OS version:
-firmware version 1.6
-baseband version 62.50S.20.17H_2.22.19.26I
-kernel version 2.6.29-00479-g3c7df37 [email protected] #19
-build number DRC83
Informations from bootloader mode:
DREA100 PVT 32B
HBOOT-0.95.0000

RADIO-2.22.19.26I

You can use any donut roms and the eclair roms too.But you will have to upgrade your SPL if you plan on using hero roms on your phone.

The unlock will stay forever. In the same way the phone can not be unlocked by flashing a rom, it can not be relocked by flashing a rom

Yeah thats a hardware thing so it ill stay unlocked.

yeah but you know it is t-mobile g1 ... it is unlocked by a code ... this is hardware unlocking?
