"Cannot execute repllog.exe" - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

On a Himalaya (this one running Qtek 1.52.00), about an hour after cold-boot, I got a box that says "Notification Error" in the title bar, and "Cannot execute repllog.exe" inside the window. It has an "ok" button, but the machine hangs. Sometimes a soft-reset works, somtimes it needs a hard-reset, and this afternoon I could only reset the unit after having the batteries for an hour or so.
This has happened a few times before, so my guess would be many people have seen this. Anyone know what's going on?

My Qtek 2020 is behaving very wierd

My 2020 is soon to be 2 weeks old, and has been placed as a DOA.
Still, there is som problems that I would like to know about before getting the new one.
I've tried to search, but I'm going to admit that my english isn't that good.
Problems with the device;
Active Sync pops up when sending MMS. Eror message "Communication Error"
This also came when I tried to sync it with mye Acer Travelmate.
When calling out, there sometimes starts to blink blue on the left side of the 2020. I know that it shows Bluetooth on. The only problem is that I've never turned it on.
When sending sms, it somtimes comes with the Dialer screen and following messages
"unsupported pin"
"unsupported sim-status"
The return button (on the screen) sometimes stops working
When using the expansion pack I experience that the Device slows down (too much)
There is no respons at all and after som minutes it's impossible to use.
update: is it supposed to use almost 30 minutes or more to backup 30MB to a CF card?
Device slows down and dosen't respond, hangs and almost goes to a complete stop before starting to work again. This can happen just like that.
There is no innstalled programs running, it starts when Active Sync is running in the background.
and there is 125MB free with memory.

"Synchronizing Connection..." stuck at 90%.

Love my jam, but this is driving me nuts.
Very frequently (approx 3 or 4 in every 5 times), whenever I do a soft reset and my Jam starts up I see a progress bar of "Synchronizing Connection" that gets stuck at 90%.
It never gets stuck at any number and remains on the screen from there on. The device "appears" to be more unstable while in this state also with some features not working properly. I have nothing unusual installed on the device (I've selected deinstalled everything) and have tried it with and without the SD card.
Anyone have any ideas or experienced something similar? Is v frustrating.
Thx,
Lawrence
Try going to "start - settings - system - permanent save" and uncheck the "connections" box.
worked!
Basme, awesome - this worked perfectly. V much appreciated

Strange Problem

Today, my 8525 keeps freezing again and again. However, it's not 100% dead. The HTC task manager has the little icon on the right top corner, and there is an small arrow indicating "open" or "close". So when my 8525 freezed, that little arrow is fliping all the time. Also, today, when I connect 8525 to PC, using activeSync, it keeps disconnecting me, then the phone freezes. This never happend before. Does any pro have a clue?
3x
Press the reset button.
I reset it many times. But the problem remains.
Are you running an HTC WM5 ROM. Have you checked he notification queue. Known problem. Google something like windows mobile 5 notification queue and you will get answers.
I am running it on wm6
Hm, interesting. I've seen that once on mine, which I just attributed to lag on the device. Pretty annoying to be sure.
Resetting did fix it, if you're still having trouble you may need to hard reset and/or uninstall some things.

Strange system problem on hermes...

I've changed roms on my hermes recently and then this problem arrived.
After reset it works for some time (sometimes 30 min, sometimes 1 day) and then all my programs dissapear, and I cant click anything exept System or I get "Invalid Shortcut" message.
Then after reset device freezes on system load screen..
It works back only after hard-reset.
Whats the problem?

Activesync not syncing any more

I have just got a HD2, and used activesync successfully for the last 2 days to sync contacts and load the HTC hotfixes from their web site. Today however, it has just stopped working. The phone connects (but takes a very long time) and starts the sync process, but then the progress bar doesn't move at all for ages or sometimes moves to about half way in 10 minutes but won't get any further.
Before the status bar starts moving and randomly during the sync process I get the message "A problem has occured with services.exe Please tell microsoft about this problem...." The status bar usually starts moving a little after sending this error report. I also get the message "A problem has occured with connmgr.exe...."
Trying to stop activesync freezes the device completely for several minutes but it usually frees eventually although I have had pull the battery a couple of times.
Occasionally when it does start I get the warning message "There has been a change made on your server that requires you to re-synchronize all items on your device. All changes made since your last successful sync will be lost. Do you wish to continue?" although I have made no changes whatsoever on the PC. I've never come across a message like this from activesync before on any other device.
Has anyone had these problems or have any idea how I can fix them?
Cheers
Do you have sync problems with 3G or with USB? It usually happens to me with USB.
Try this. At Settings|Wireless, turn off Direct Push. Turn off Data connection. Go to mail. Do a Menu|SendReceive. If it works, then go back to enable those two options. I have no idea why but this often works.
Unpluging the USB often makes it better.
delete profiles in actvie
sync tools->active sync
soft reset
sync again
Be happy
Sfr0g, how do I delete the profile? I can't find that option.
Cheers
