My current cell operator (Vivo) has good voice service but the data coverage is spotty. I'd like to purchase Claro's prepaid sim with data and use it's data as a second sim.
Can i force the device to use data from second sim and route all calls to the first sim ?
Can someone of you with Chinese version test dual SIM functionality in case
while you are actively using the internet traffic (3G mobile data) on the SIM1
are you able to receive calls on SIM2?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
Yep, can work whichever Sim has mobile data active. When you receive a call, the mobile data switches off, and turns automatically on after call ended. If you have issues, it could be your network operator. In China the dual Sim is switching properly (after calling, both Sims connect to network). In EU and USA its different. If I'm calling from sim1, Sim2 will be disconnected, and after sim1 call finished, sometimes Sim2 won't reconnect. Also, OP 2001 has one IMEI, while 2003 and 2005 has 2 IMEI's.
Hello guys. After paying off the remainder of my S8's bill on sprint they unlocked it (or so they said). I then used your guide to install Samsung and at&t's firmware. From there I went to an at&t store, bought an at&t go phone sim card, installed it, activated their service and changed my number. LTE works fine, but I don't think 2g and 3g are working.
1. Under sim card status it says disconnected mobile network state. My IMS registration status is not registered either.
2. Under connections - mobile networks - network operators at&t - search for at&t microcell it says "Failed to connect to mobile network via at&t MicroCell. Try again.
3. Under connections - mobile networks - access point names it says "ATT Nextgenphone", that's all. I would of thought more options would be here. ?
According to the app open signal my phone never uses 2g or 3g.
Please let me know what I should do next. Thank you.
