I notice MDA II and XDA II are the same exact phone just different names basically, and MDA II is T-mobile. The hardware is the same supposedly, but the software isn't, can someone explain whats different in the software that I can't have on an MDA II with an XDA II or something. Because I want a XDA II, but they are expensive and MDA II is $100 cheaper which is near my price range.

Er... yes. Since the MDA Pro has been sold for many weeks now - and that the MDA IV name was dropped months ago - how could you possibly think this is news worth telling? :roll:

The only one that is correct is the SPV M5000
exactly, I was referring the subtitle of this forum. I know it was meant to be called mda pro by t-mobile, but this name was dropped ages ago. when i got my device in july 2005 it was already called mda-pro.
In very short supply in the UK, but I've just taken out a new contract that I wanted to use a Qtek 8500 with, so as a result I've got a totally unused, boxed T Mobile MDA Vario II available...
Was bought on Saturday (will provide receipt...)
Any takers? Looking to recoup the cost of the Qtek 8500 plus the cost of buying the Vario II on the tariff I went for...
