Dear All,
I've been searching to find a solution to this for 2 weeks now, there are some posts i have read whole forum almost, nothing seems to work.
I think it has nothing to do with what kind of bluetooth headset you have, there should be a program which should transfer audio from sound card of the Mda to the integrated phone inside this device.
Could someone describe how can we achieve this? It is very convenient to listen to audiobooks (if you think why would someone need mono listening)
I'm also willing to pay for this help.
Greetings,
Devrim

my config: MDA (Dutch) wMobileSE 2.06 4.21.1088 with Jabra BT250
i tried to install widcomm, but it doesn't work.
Unfortunately we were the recipients of a beautiful piece of hardware that was released with a "non standard" bluetooth implementation. I have read peoples claims that this is possible, but, I am yet to experience a working solution.

Hi!
Widcomm does not support bluetooth headset at the moment although the headset can be paired with your PPC ie. no sound recieved from your headset.
One way out is to listen MP3 from your PC/laptop which is possible through your headset, however, you'll have to get thre right dongle.
As for listening MP3 from my O2 XDA II through my iPHONO bluetooth headphone I had Widcomm + the High Quality Audio Profile installed. The sound was crappy with occasional split second interruption to the sound playback.
So much so for the current bluetooth technology for listening to MP3 playback on my O2 XDA II
how did you install widcomm and deactivated ms stack?
plus, iphono thingie has no microphone, hence i'll have to have two bluetooth headsets... not convenient...
thanks,
RE
Well, if you make a search for Widcomm there're many threads on this subject.
Read all of them and you'll be able to find your answers
Even the new Broadcom stack Build 3500 for XDA IIs does not support the mp3 playback on BT headsets.
The unofficial upgrade which adds hi quality BT headset profile, I still doubt it can do it coz the Audio Gateway preference is not listed. Damn

I had install the Widcomm BT stack, it is not working. There was no sound in the bt earpiece (mine is HBH-65) although it was paired with xdaII. The worst is it mess up the function for normal phone talking. I can listern the voice from caller but they cannot listern to my voice during phone call.
the xdaII can't get back to normal until a hard reset. Would you please tell me how to get the earpiece work ?
Hi,
the unofficial upgrade is working, I just got a pair of HP headphones, it's awesome. Just be sure your headphones support A2DP, regular headsets won't do it.
Treo
Nice one Mp3's over blue tooth. Any chance of a simple walk through on how to do it and the files needed?
cheers

this iphone have a mic
and support music using the dongle and phone using the normal headset profile which even ms bluetooth stack support
try search for this little software call BTAudio to turn on/off the audio from mp3 to your headset
I am not entirely sure if this is possible but I want to make my bluetooth headset my headphone as well (instead of plugging in the wired handsfree which I got with my unit). The purpose? mostly to use SKYPE for LD calls - skype does not seem to have an option to send to BT headset. (I also want to listen to music on my BT handsfree but that it another issue - less important)
Any ideas?
You cannot listen sound over BT. Only phone calls can be routed to headset.
this isnt actually true, i managed to get all sound to run over my BT headset on my alpine the other day and was able to listen to mp3s over my jabra 250v but as of yet i cant work out how i did it, thats how i stumbled accross this thread
is there any way to use normal bluetooth headset to listen to mp3 and etc ? like my old nokia phone
thanks.
No, if the normal headset is not stereo, you can't receive mp3s with a HTC Magician. It doesn't have the Widcomm BT stack, as this stack lets you stream any audio to a headset, even mono.
I’m running the official HTC (Dutch) Windows Mobile 6 version on the HTC X7500.
I’m using a Motorola HT820 Stereo Bluetooth headset to listen to music by A2DP.
I’m using a Jabra BT5010 Bluetooth headset for voice calls.
Voicecalls with the BT5010 are no problem at all. Listening to music with the Motorola headset is no problem too, when the Jabra IS NOT connected (turned off) at the same time.
The Motorola stereo headset and the Jabra BT5010 can both be connected at the same time, they are even working (I can call with the Jabra and listen to music with the Motorola) but now and then the stereo music is lagging.
When it starts lagging in stereo audio playback it doesn’t seem to stop anymore. Sometimes the music continues the normal way, and sometimes the lags will come up again a few seconds later.
There are no more lags when I then shut down the Jabra headset.
Is there a way to solve this? It looks like some sort of “Bluetooth bandwith” issue since it only happens when both headsets are connected.
Please note that even though the Motorola HT820 can make voice calls too, I only checked the “Wireless Stereo” service to be used, and “Wireless headset” is only selected for the Jabra.
Adding/editing registry entries like BitPool, UseJointStereo, MaxBitPool, SampleRate and all WILL NOT resolve this problem, I’ve already tried that.
Thanks guys!!
Hey guys
I know this will sound as a silly question, but is there a way for me to enjoy listening to my music through my bluetooth headset?
Thanks
What do u mean?! HD supports A2DP, so yes technically u should be able to...
how do I do that then ?
thanks for your help
Turn on bluetooth and pair it with your headset. Also, make sure you have beam activated
You have to have a Stereo Bluetooth Headset. Google it if you don't know what one is.
Search for "BT Audio". works on the HD.
use acbtoogglebt
use ACBtoogleBT

works great even if u do not have stereo bluetooth. It sends all speaker sounds to headphone.
Be aware tough that this mode switches off once call is received and BT headset becomes normal so U have to toggle it again. If you are in the middle of watching movie you have to restart the movie programme to get the sound over headset.
But works great. I use it to watch TV serial and podcast while walking my DOG everynight
Blutooth Sterio Headphone
There are many Blutooth head sets which are large. If you want a regular sleek Blutooth handsfree you may try Plantronics Voyager 855. It is a small Blutooth handsfree with an ear stud which can be converted into a blutooth sterio head set by attaching a small chord with ear stud to the other ear. It works well. Steri quality is good.
