can't get cooked ROM file...

ok... i might just be damn dumb, but here goes - i hope someone can help me out
i go to yorch's kitchen, select the stuff, and select 'build ROM now'. the bar at the top goes to 'running mkrom', and it runs for a bit, but after that my IE window just states 'done' and nothing else happens. am I correct to assume a window shld open with an option for me to download the new ROM? tearing my hair out... i'm in Singapore, but we have pretty good cable connection here so that shldnt be the problem right?

it takes awhile and sometimes it fail and you have to redo it

there is no such window. just go to the bottom of the screen and u should find a new button to 'down load' the cooked rom.

joetheman - Thank you, I'm not the only one having problems with yorch.com. :x I can't cook up a PPC 2002 ROM if my life depended on it!!! I cooked up a 2003 fine and so far it works great, so I will be using 2003 for a while.

Hi all, in mist of using my Xda2 I get the following appearing on the screen - 997:143:10. Can anyone explain to me what is happening and if this is a disaster in waiting how can I avert this? Thanx

sounds like government eavesdropping of calls and you are seeing the forwarding number. had a similar thing in cuba...

No, no, no. This numbers come in the form of a small window with an OK at the top right corner. I tried investigate by view the processes that were running but.....

Try to get a screenshot.

Check if Broadcast Channels are turned on. :lol:

MMS pictures Shrinking in size when downloaded??

Ok guys I have a certain issue that wasn't really an issue until I switched from Cingular Blue (AT&T) to Cingular. Before when I was with Cingular blue and I received an MMS with lets say a picture attachment of 32k. I would downloaded the full size pic with no problems.
Now with cingular If i have the same scenario when I download the MMS pic the file shrinks to 4-10k basically the picture downloads but now its small and I dont get to enjoy it in my big screen . I have set all the settings from cingular and this was happening with my Imate Jamin and was hoping it would have gone away with my new Tytn but the problem still persists. Any suggestions??
Does anyone have the MMS CAB from cingular rom? maybe theres a setting there that I dont have on my tytn

I had the same issue when I bulldozed my Wizard and didn't do any of the customizing CAB's. Probably the same issue with the TyTN.
I have a custom CAB file I made with the reg tweaks for the Wizard. I'll post the keys if you want them.
Also, not familiar with the TyTN as far as what carriers are carrying it: is Cingular one of them?

The CAB I've attached has the Cingular MMS settings I extracted from several Cingular extended ROM CAB's.

I put them on my Tytn and the MMS fuction works perfectly by downloading the full size of the message but I have found on my unit it for some reason gets rid of some fucntions in on the Camera. It gets rid of my flash completly. I've hard reset it 5 times making sure its the CAB files and it for is. If theres anything suggestions im open.

same issue here...
is there any way (registry modification?!?) to get the camera flash back?

I think theres an option under the MMS account settings to download the original size file from the server.

Ok guys hello again. i am here with some problem, don't mind ok .
I am from start experiencing this problem. lets say i and you are talking on sms. i sent you a message time=6.56, you reply me and time will be 5.56 :/. BELIEVE ME guys you don't want this to be happening to you when you wake up in morning and find all your received sms's gone back and all mine or yours sent in front. its like your friend, or in my case you replied before i even asked anything. damn time machine in this phone. i recently backed up my msgz and now got them back again (i use my phone service) the crap that happened is all the messages are f'd up! as some guys, i felt like SMASHING it against the WALL! it looks so f'in ridiculous when i open a conversation and all i see are my messages :/ and the one i receive they go in older section. please please please tell me some fix. i would appreciate it alot!

Ive seen this discussed somewhere up top, its something to do with the server and the sync of your phone or something, i saw this, just yesterday, there was a cab file to install that fixes it. I'll look around and report back.
-edit- if you know how to manipulate your registry try this, cannot say it will work, i have no need for it so i cannot test it but here:

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting\
Add a dword key "TrustTimeZoneField" and give it a dword value of 0
-edit 2- if you dont know how to use a registry editor, install the cab.

Im A UK T-mobile user and after the rom update 1.72 everytime I send a sms I get a very enoying sms sent message. . .
is there anyway to stop this . . . .I really hate it

go to Messages> Menu>Settings>Options> Uncheck request delivery report under sms

don't think the OP is taling about an SMS delivery report, its like a notification that stays in your taskbar, i want to keep this there, but for it to disappear after x seconds (say 3)

Nobody have a quick fix?

Is there an option to turn it off by going to:
Start/Settings/Menu/All settings/Sounds and Notifications/Notifications then selecting an option from the drop down list and making any changes?
I'm still on the original TMobile Rom so have not tried this on 1.72. If this option isn't in the new Rom I'd be interested to know of another fix before I upgrade myself.

good idea happy snapper but just had a look and if you select 'display on screen' then you can click ok and it disappears, as in the stock rom.
great solution mate and btw, i would upgrade if i were you, it makes so much difference that the stock t-mobile rom

i've hesitated installing the new rom as i must be one of the few people who so far has had no problems with the stock rom (2 months!) and thats throwing every bit of wm software i've got at it. i will give it a go on my next free sunday morning though

Its driving me nuts........

Have I missed something here! Neither link works.... I've emailed HTC for a solution so fingers crossed..
