Hey Guys,
Hope you can help.
Somehow in the frenzy of opening my new XDA box I have managed to loose the 2nd CD that came with it .
Not the Outlook one but the other one.
Can anyone tell me what was on it ? - Am I missing anything good ?
Thanks

What second cd ?
the only one that I had was the MS one with Outlook / Active sync etc !!
Are U sure that there was a 2nd CD ???
Ravi
2nd CD? What second CD?
There is only ONE CD this time , it was with the first XDa that we got 2 CD ...
Cheers
Oh my mistake then... I was sure I saw another one..
The other cd
Just to throw something else in: what is on the old xda second cd, is it useful, and can it be used on the xda II?

hi all
could you please help me with a wee problem.
ive just bought a xda mini 2 and i cant get any games on it.
ive downloaded a few and the only game that didnt say "not a valid ppc app" was tomb raider...got all my games from the same place so any ideas as to why this is?
also how do i get files to go right into my storagecard when using bluetooth?
thanks very much for any help that you can give
cheers
K
If it says not a valid app then run it on your pc (if it is a .exe) and plug y our phone in and it will install through actice sync.
For bluetooth to go directly to your storage card, search the forum. I think it was answered before but i can't remember the solution.
oh!!!!!!!!
i didnt know to instal it on the pc
thats it sorted now......ill sort the blue tooth later
thanks for the help mate
muchious appresiatious
cheers

Howdy guys
I have just purchased a Orange SPV M600 Smartphone.
I hope this is right section for these kinda questions ?
Anyway I had a XDA IIs before and wanted to ask a few easy Q's please
Q1. Is msn messenger available for this with it being on 5.0 operating system?
Q2. How does it compare to the XDA IIs ?
Q3. Can I add apps like I could with my old XDA ? is it basically the same ?
Many thanks guys in advance.
Matt
Congrats on your new phone.
1. The messenger is built in just like in the old system.
2. Not really sure on this one since I never had one of those, but if you are switching from a WM 2003 to WM 5 device it will appear sluggish (because it is) until you get used to it.
3. Anything you could do with your old device you can do with this one and possibly more. One good thing about WM 5 is that no matter how long you leave it without battery charge the only thing you will loose is your date and time settings. Once you recharge it, it comes back just as it was.
Also there is some improvement in built in apps (word, excel) and push mail (if you have an exchange account somewhere).
Basically, although orange call it a "smartphone" it is a PPC by definition (touch screen and all) and is just like you old device but with newer OS and storage memory that does not require battery power.
Cheers for that mate
Thats good news am happy now
Only problem I have is I forgot where i used to get all me cool appz lol any ideas ?
Cheers

Brand new here and have alot to learn. I just purchased a Diamond from a friend but he did not have the box or accessories. The unit is the US Version without the front camera. The only thing I am needing is the software CDs from the box, everything else I can live without. First of all, what was on the CDs and where can I download them? I went to HTC and cannot find anything under the support page. Sorry to be such a noob but I just want to make sure I am not missing anything important.
i believe its only the manual and activesync on it. not sure tho since i only used the cd once.
Well if thats the case, I can just download the latest version of ActiveSync from MS and I already downloaded the manual. I should be good to go. Anyone else verify? Thanks.
yeah your good to go every thing else is on this or other forums not much on the cd
With mine diamond came 2 cd's.
1: manual + Active sync.
2: programs for backup your diamond (spritebackup and another one).

Mine came with World Card Mobile already installed. I checked the about screen but it only mentions the version and website name. Nothing about registered or unregistered or trial version. Did you buy it legitimately?
