After installing the WM2003 4.00.11 version of the ROM from the ROM kitchen, the caller is always unknown, even if the caller is in the contacts list.
Anyone seen that???

if you are copying the contacts from your sim card using sim manager, you have to apply the patch found in PDA2 extended rom and your problem is fixed

Hello everyone, I bought my O2 XDA ll mini just a few days ago ....so I am still a newbie.
I am trying to attach photos to my contacts and I get the message below:
"Unable to execute Caller ID. Please make sure Caller ID has been installed on your pocket PC. 36003:115:0"
I get the ID of my contacts when they call me.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would try a hard reset as occasionly you get issues with software not correctly installing. Or you can make a copy of your extended rom then executev the cab file again.

Hello thank you for your reply, The hard reset did not work. What do you mean by cab file?
I tried to install the applications and it says that the rom is not compatible..I have ROM version: 1.13.00 WWE
ROM date: 18/8/2005
Radio version: 1.13.00
Does anybody know were I can find the compatible applications?
Is the caller ID application in these?

What program was that. I have a BA and I am experiencing the same problem.. I have WM6 installed.
Try adding the photoes using outlook. There is also a nice program named "Photo contacts pro"
Hi, I am facing a serious issue after upgrading my O2 Orbit2 to wm6.1 wwe 3.13.260 official rom from O2 website, before Upgrading i took backup of PIM thru sprite backup 6.5 (which works on wm6.1 and 6 both), after upgrading i restored my contacts successfully but the issue is that whenever I receive any call or SMS from the contacts (which i restored) it doesnt detect the name and shows number only, and i tried restoring many times but the same issue happens, contacts are available in phone but does not detect any call or sms, only shows the number. Please tell me why is it happening like this?
by the way when I select any contact and create a duplicate on phone, then it detects the name of incoming call, other then that it does not. i have over 400 contacts, i cannot copy all and then delete the previous one by one, its very tedious process, pls tell me wht is the bug??
please anyone tell me, I have all the contacts saved but incoming call does not show caller name, it shows number for every caller, pls tell me why is this happening, how can i fix it??

Hi there, I updated my ROM version to the newest from web site of HTC.
After the upgrade a strange problem appeared :
I have saved contact's numbers in the short form, e.g. 0905111111, but in real the number, if someone calls me is with the state preamble (+421905111111 in Slovakia).
But the device now does not show me the contact name, because it seems like it can not identify the contact(saved in the short form).
If I modify the number of a contact , I add the +421 nomber everything is OK.
Does anybody have this problem, and solved it?

Well, this is just an update, what I found out meanwhile...
So, it seems to be a problem of Sprite backup software.
If I make a new contact in the short form, everything works.
It just seem to be a problem with the sprite backup's restored contacts.
Now experimenting with MS Myphone by deleting and restoring contacts again.
Will post latest news soon.

I have 7740 back to the future rom. After I installed SP1 yesterday, my caller id is having the +6512345678 problem. I applied the DEV_CALLERID_FIX_REMOVE.cab and reinstall DEV_CALLERID_FIX.cab. But it is not working as before i update to SP1. Does anyone have this problem ?
Yes, I also have the same problem. Phone calls show up with the correct id, but sms does not.

My phone calls and sms does not. At least its not my phone sim card problem
