Hello everyone. I need some help. I tried to upgrade my Ipaq 3650 to 02 but it gave me an error. The error is error 103: rom image file not found. Can someone explain to me how to correct this? In the past I have downloaded the Rom upgrade utility. I have tried the using the following files from various internet resources: SP16986, SP18576, and SP20010. None of these fixed my problem. I have a Ipaq 3630. I have sucessfully loade 02 on a Ipaq 3650 before but that one broke and they(employer) gave me a 3630 in it's place. Thanks for all the help.
I am a bit confused here. Where did you get the roms from that you originally used on the 3650 and what is an o2 rom, the only o2 rom I am aware of is specifically for the XDA. Can you give some more info please.
If you need the upgrade rom that takes your 3630 up to 2002 then I have a cd for that.

Hi
I'm running an O2 ROM cooked up at Yorch's kitchen. However, decided to try out the Qtek 3.18.04 based on the link posted by Othman since my device is (or was, once upon a time) a Qtek...
However, I'm unable to install the Qtek upgrade on this rom on account of version or model conflict. Downloaded AdaptROM once more (thinking my version was corrupt) but running it before the upgrade programme does not seem to help at all.
Has anybody else experienced the same?
if you took a backup of the org rom you got with the device you should put that back on and then run the upgrade
hmmm
I've changed roms so many times that I cant remember the original version, let alone have a copy of it.... let me dig around here and find if there's a link to the one Othman originally posted...
Hi, Does anyone know where I can download the latest ROM for my XDA IIi uk to the latest Imate PDA2 ROM? I have heard that this is better than the 02 ROM? Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?

Many Thanks for the imate FTP tip, got the rom ok. I will update everyone once I have attempted the ROM swap
Update to the newer O2 ROM but use Pugs update version as this includes the newer Radio ROM version too
Download it here : - ftp://xdaupload:[email protected] XDA_IIi_Upgrade_v1.11.162 Radio_1.3.rar
The thread this rom was posted in is here : - http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=25801&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
Read right through it though theres 4 pages,
This upgrade will error the first time you try, but it works on the second time.
Re: Which ROM for XDA IIi?
Many thanks for all your advice. I am going to stick with the modified 02 upgrade, it seems the general feeling is this option.
Unless anybody knows different?

think you flash it to the wrong ROM or there is a bug on that ROM.
what ROM version/info that you use now?
probably you use ATOM ROM to flash it to ATOM EXEC.
I think its the atom exec ROM only, but in any case i tried ur version of WM6 while installing it says c:/windows/temp failed and it stopped there any suggestions on installing ur ROM on to it

make sure you copy all the files into c:\windows\temp and the DSUU will ok in XP, do you Vista? if yes then read XDA-Wiki to install the rom via sd-card. (becareful)
