Downgrading from Radio Stack 4.21.00 - MDA, XDA, 1010 Software Upgrading

I upgraded to the wrong Radio Stack (4.21.00) version last week. Which was a bit silly on my part. I guess that there is no turning back to another Radio Stack? That is I wish to go back to the original AT&T stack.
Please your help in this matter would be much appreciated!!

You can get the needed files to revert back to the AT&T radio stack from
the below site:
http://www.my-siemens.com/com.apert.../da/us/mw/mc/mc/ruuv1.11_cea.20.17wwe_aws.exe
Once you have it use Winzip to extact it then locate and copy the below
files to your devices windows root folder and run RSUpgrade.exe.
Needed upgrade files:
RSUpgrade.exe
RSUpgrade.cp64
monitor_ul_bs.map
monitor_ul_bs.m0

How about downgrading from T-Mobile 6.24 to 6.18? Do you have a link and easy instructions like you provided for the AT&T Radio ROM?
Thanks

If you're planing on downgrading back to T-Mobile 6.18 you might
as well upgrade to the AT&T stack its a lot better than 6.18.
Anyhow 6.18 isn't a separate upgrade like 6.24 its built-in the 3.14.40 ROM.

Hello Q
Will this revert my settings back to
Radio Version : 3.23.01 Original
Protocol Version: 32S54 Original ?
Regards

Thanks Qman!
I did not upgrade to 6.24 yet but was just wondering if there was a simple way to downgrade back if I did.
What is your opinion of going to 6.24? Besides the constant GPRS connection what other benefits are there?
Thanks

In opinion 6.24 was better than 6.18 but not as good as At&T's stack,
besides the constant GPRS connection you'll have improved power management (better battery life), improved GSM and GPRS.

lost Radio Stack 6.02

Hi:
I upgraded my T-Mobile PPC and lost the Radio Stack 6.02, now my phone have Radio Stack 4.14, it's dead,
I'm looking for Radio Stack U6.02 for 900/1900 t-mobile Phone Edition. Does anybody knows where I can get it?
Thanks
I did the same thing. Anyone out there help us out?
Usually you cannot downgrade a Radio Stack. I did it too and after resetting the Setup for Radio Stack 6.18 (also for t-mobile Phone Edition) starts automatically. After this it worked again.
Have you tried to hard-Reset your device (all data is lost)?
If you find a version (6.x) somewhere on the Internet, let me know. Lot's of People are looking for these versions.

Radio Newbie Question

I have a Siemens SX56 using AT&T Wireless as a carrier.
The phone is running the following:
ROM Verison: 3.14.03 ENG
ROM Date: 09/27/02
Radio Version: 6.12
Protocol Version: 324e4
I was wondering if this is the newest radio version and software ROM version I can use. I went to O2's site and found other versions, but being new to the xda, I don't want to screw things up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You sould not use an european rom en radio on an american device.
Because your radio is 900/1900 band and the european is 900/1800 band.
You may be able to use the rom update but I'm not sure, but you can not use the radio update.
Radio
Thanks....
Are you sure about the rom update?
I am using 3.14.03
Is there any list anywhere that describes the difference between the versions?
Thanks,
Bob

Help: Upgrade QTEK 900/1900

Hi all,
I have tried to read and understand how to upgrade my PocketPC phone, but unfortunately I am still confused:
I have non branded Microsoft "qtek" phone modelW10B1 (GSM 900/1900) with
ROM VERSION: 3.14.P6 ENG
ROM DATE: 09/26/02
Radio version: 6.18
Protocol version 324e4
Where to find the correct upgrade files?
or can someone kindly send them to me?
I would appreciate ANY help in this matter...
All the best,
Ampi
ROM is not the point. You can cook your ROM from the kitchen here. But the radio stack is so critical since you are using 900/1900. You better get the last update from your network provider or at least ask some one who's using the same network.

Need help with Radio stack upgrade

I just upgraded to the 4.00.16 T-mobile rom, and everything is working great. So I decided to upgrade my radio stack, and see if I could get a better signal in my house. When I go to look at the current settings, it says this:
ROM version: 4.00.16 ENG
ROM date: 07/10/03
Radio version: A.20.10
Protocal version: 324e4
Now I must tell you that this is an AT&T SX56 unlocked to tmobile. I am wondering if that has anything to do with it. Please help, I am totally confused at this point.
Chris
Looks good to me and was the same setup I had until I upgraded to ROM version 4.00.21 yesterday.
You might also want to give the T-Mobile radio stack a try you might get
a little bit better signal.
FYI the signal strength meter under WM2003 shows a less
than it did under Pocket PC 2002, but is know to have better reception.
Thanks Qman.
BTW, how is the 4.00.21 update, any better than 16?
Thanks again.
