Help please.. SD Card flashing

My PC's activesync crashed and hanged while flashing the ROM. Now the xda is stuck with Updating screen.
Can someone please tell me which file to download from Jeff's kitchen (nk.nb1 or nk.nbf or anything else) and how to write it to SD card for flashing.
I tried to write nb1 and nbf both, using xda-tools, but it is not copied in the format required by the bootloader. In fact, in either case it is copied as a file which is not identified by the bootloader (my version is 5.15). boootloader starts with GSM OK message, and does not give me option to flash the ROM.
Can someone please please tell me how to do it?

I was about to go to the service centre for rom image from another xda, but I decided to give it a try using usb cradle, and ran the original upgrade program. It came out with error and asked me to soft reset the device and try again, which I did, and it worked. I now have a working xda!

BIG PROBLEM ! I probably damage my SX56 upon his upgrade

Hey everyone. I have big problem and i need a help or somebody who can help me fix my problem. When i use XDA-developers-SER-v12 to upgrade my SX56 my PC freeze up and upgrade wasn't finish . Now i can see on my display only black and white line. Nothing more or less. PPC is not working with my PC
Anybody can help my or give me any adress i can send PPC to fixed (if it's possible) ? Or i don't know what can i do ........... :roll:

You need to use sd card flashing method, your phone will be ok, just look around the forum look for sd card flashing.

OK but how can i reflash my SX56 with SD cadr if I don't have any back up ?
plus everybody has bootloader 5.17 or older but my is 5.22 :-(

you have 2 options both use SD card:
1. get ROM backup from any other working XDA.
2. get SD card reader/writer. change the extention of the ROM file you cooked to .zip and use winzip to extract a file named NK.nbf under \english directory. use the SD writer to copy this file to the SD card.
in both cases, insert the SD card into your XDA and use the bootloader.

I had a similar problem last year. I found that while the ActiveSync monitor shows no connectivity you will still be able to transfer an OS image. One hiccup I did find, and I am running wallaby 5.17 by the way, is a version conflict with the proposed rom and existing header information. This is a windows registry problem on your PC caused by the crash which needs to be deleted prior to attempting the upgrade.

(HELP) Tried to upgrade to WM2003

I downloaded the upgrade from Siemens web site and ran the program.
my phone is now stuck in the upgrade window and will not reboot.
Any Sugestions?

You need to get an sd memory card and card reader/writer, using the tools available here on the site you will need to write a rom to the sd card through sd card reader on your pc, then you go to bootloader mode and the sd card will burn the rom to your xda.

Thanks for the advise. I have a 1Gb sd card so I will get a reader.
I'm kind curious about Bootloader? Can Anyone enlighten me or point me to posts that have the info I'll need.
My computer is running windows is this ok?

Thanks For all the help. I fixed the Problem with the Bootloader. Finished the upgrade to A.30.09.
I just wanted to say that it is AWESOME to have a sight like this when the manufacturer doesn't have a clue how to answer many of these Q's.

its gone wrong.......

well i have just hit a problem returning my xda to its original rom version after trying out the new one....
I followed the instuctions word by word... putting the old rom on my sd card, booting it in wallaby, letting it finish and the disabling the battery and finally turning it back on with the battery enabled....
the downgrade completed without any issues.
now when i switch the xda on its going straight into the wallaby boot mode even if the memory card is taken out..
how the hell do fix this.
if I put the memory card into my pc it requests that it needs formatting so it can be used... if i do this and put the rom on the card nothing happens when I put in the xda to try and restore it..
please help as Ive only had my xda for 3 days...

I take it you have a MMC card reader? you need to format the MMC card so windows will not read it (which by the sounds you can do) and asks for it to be formatted, once you have done this you can now load a ROM on to the card with XDA Tools and write it via the bootloader to your XDA, this will (you hope) fix said problem you have.

hi im trying to install miui nd now in MAGLDR113 i attach my hd2 with pc and i formetted my card ( my bad ) and now im trying to copy rom in card but its not working its always says bad path happing many times but still same now how i copy my rom in card .... and now my card is empty with no file inside what i do next please someone help and one more now when i start my mobile everytime this MAGLDR come nothing else not my omega rom just coming always this MAGLDR please somehlep thanks alot in advance

only chance to get it work is to use an cardreader.
if haven´t one you can reinstall an wm6.5 rom.
then copy android.zip on sd card and reinstall magldr.

What you can do is, flash the official windows mobile rom. It should solve the problem.
If not , try using with new sd card or without sd card.
if that don't solve the problem, well then there went something significantly wrong!.

Flash clockwork, mount usb storage in that

Format (32) ur card, if u cant do it with Gparted (live cd).

Hi,
Did you format your card with windows 7 ?
Phone will not work with that.
Use a card reader and try formatting the card with g-parted(google)
