Is it possible to change or downgrade my rom with a cooked rom? i bought an XDA with wm2003 4.11 rom.
Yes this is possible, you could use either a new rom (which you can cook in a rom kitchen.
Or you can use the sd card way.
but the rom's in the kitchen are lower than my rom
T0722 you can still downgrade
even if the rom is a lower version
or are you asking IF you should downgrade to a lower version ?
Actully, I'm looking for a better rom. probly a 4.00.16 ENG rom. I only see specific telecom roms. what's the diff anyway?

i've seen t-mobile updates of WM2003 but i don't think it will work well in asia. because t-mobile uses the 900/1900 while in asia we have the 900/1800 frequency.
That will be no problem. The site i linked in the post above is from T-Mobile in Germany. We also use the 900/1800 frequency.
But i didn´t find anyone, that has an new MDA with the original t-mobile wm2003 Software....
Regards
Stefan
you have the rom? the site is in german can't understand it.
Yes and No , all new T-Mobile MDA`s have WM2003 , but this ROM you can`t get alone(without MDA) .
At the T-mobile site(Germany) is only PPC2002 upgrade .
Sorry for bad English

it's good to see fellow countryman
as pug has explained, you could use pug's rom with all of the upgrades (radio and camera being improved). I use it and it's running well on my device. If you're worry with the extended rom version and don't want to miss some programs that might be useful for you such as o2 connect, gprs monitor, etc. you could install them on your own after downloading the cab files from buzz site and other sites alike (pdamobiz). Oh yeah, pak Cornelius, I thought I send you a pm a couple of days ago but I havent received a reply from you. Anyhow, just wanna say that the problem was resolved thanks to someone in this forum (cant remember his name).
enjoy your new rom and many thanks to pug for his work on alpines rom.
hi guys, my neighbour country! hahaha
using bal666 Ext ROM Tools, you can edit your ext rom and add the cab files to your ext rom. special thanks to bal666.
First of all, I'm newbie here,
does anyone having trouble with upgrading the XDA IIi ROM radio so far ?
does the camera quality improved much ? not so noisy picture as the default one ?
is it worth it for the ROM upgrade because I'm afraid that it would erase all of the previously installed ROM for HARD Reset ( cannot HARD RESET to go back to factory setting.)
Salam Damai Sejahtera !!!

I've no problems with upgrading my IIi with pug's rom (the one with o2 stuffs stripped and camera improvement) - many thanks to Pug! To me, it's worthed because it comes with 1.04 radio upgrade (better signal quality), more bluetooth profiles, and we have more ROM available without the O2 stuffs cluttering our ROM. I don't know whether the picture quality is improving because I seldomly use the camera feature. However, it does feel that the picture quality is improving! My IIi also feels stable almost all the time, the exception of which is when I experiment with some new overclocking softwares.
If you want stuffs like o2 connect etc. and your rom version to be back into 1.11.923 WWE, you can download custom rom files from other sites that provide download for Asian ROM and have them installed directly from the file explorer. I think Clustered has uploaded XDA IIi original Asia ROM somewhere. You do have to reinstall all of the programs in order to get the benefits of upgrading your rom. O yeah, where do you live anyway, pak Albert? I live in Jakarta. Cheers!

so that's the Ultimate ROM Upgrade for the O2 XDA IIi
all in one upgrade for everything Hassle Free.
Thanks PUG, I'll give it a try and I'll report it later, hopefully works best.
Terima kasih.
it works
the newest rom update from pug works...
thanks again

they all work on your wallaby device
it all comes down to what language you want
and how new a rom you want
a good pointer is the higher the number the newer the rom
