XDA ROM update crashed - pease help

Hello,
I know, i am not the first one with this problem and i read many threads but i am not clearly understand the way (if there is a way) to fix my problem.
After updating my german xda Device i restarted and have been promped to enter my Pin, but the screen is frozen. So i did first a soft and after this a hard reset. Now after every hard reset i see the the O2-bubbles for some minutes and then the white screen with the blue bar on the top. Nothing is working.
I i wait for 10 or 20 Minuten the bubbles coming back - same game everytime.
I tried to enter the bootloader while holding the Power-Button while soft-resetting. BootLoader is seen, but shows a "gsm error".
I can not establish an active-sync-connection via USB-Cradle.
What can I do to rescue my XDA? Is there any possibility or can i put it to trash?
Any advice is very welcome!

I can't get the white screen with the blue bar on the top because I am using 02 xda ver 4.00.11 (PPC2003), so that I can't use the repair.zip to fix it.
Any expert can to teach me how to fixing it by myself ?

Hi,
after half a night i fixed my described problem with the gsm-error in the bootloader.
I will post my solution in a new thread today in the afternoon.

take a look there.
We first tried to fix it using 2003-SD-Flash but it become buggier, the pling-sound does not played, so we flashed back to PPC2002 and made it as described in the new thread!
Hope, you can flash CE with an PPC2002, maybe it helps, but I do not really know. Simply try or not!

Hello all,
I bought a T-Mobile MDA Compact and it came with German Windows software...
I don't speak a word of it!
Does anyone know how i can change it to English?
I looked all over the internet but i found nothing to download...
I am desperate as i can't use my brand new phone and i payed quite a lot of money to buy it!
Please help...

First of all thankyou so much for replying and trying to help out. However i try do do all u say in the specific link but when i click on MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and try to run it i get an error saying the file cannot be found even though i can see it on my pc...

Hi Steph,
Are you sure you've extracted all the files from the shipped-rom, with winzip or winrar, to a single folder? You should get files like nk.nbf, enterbl.exe etc. If you got those files, just put the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe in the same folder. Make sure you allow Act.Sync to connect to your magician via usb. Connect your magician with usb & execute MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe. This should be working, maybe you need to run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe twice, first time gives error 120 & fixes this, second time it really updates your rom version.

I've tried everything u said... and more!
For some reason i can't manage.
When i try to run the MaUpgradeUt_noID it tells me that the RUU.dll is missing.
I put everything in one folder as u said.
I don't know if it's because the application cd is also in german and i can't understand a thing.

Don't know what you're experiencing, haven't heard this before. I do understand that you want to give up on this. Don't think that's it's your Act.Sync language giving you these errors, but you can always download the English Act.Sync from Microsoft.
Problem is I really have no clue what's going wrong on your side. What happens when you just run the plain shipped-rom? Gives it the error 120 or .... Are you sure it's a magician: device id PM10A or PM10B under start -> settings -> system -> device information -> identity (or something simular in German :-( )
You can try to update it with a SD-card flash, documentation http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=MagicianSDflash but that can be a hassle too.
I guess you're not living near Nijmegen in the Netherlands otherwise I would've done it for you.

FORMAT FAIL !! during a hard reset.

hey guys thanks for being helpful alot of times..
My O2 XDA MINI S gets stuck at the startup operator logo ..
I FLASHED IT WITH THE NEW 2.21.4.1 ROM AND OS ,, but its still the same
NOW IM TRYING TO FORMAT IT WITH A HARD RESET BY PRESSING THE SEND BUTTON ,,BUT IT SAYS "FORMAT FAIL"..... Please help me as i really miss the phone..

I am afraid that usually means you have a faulty rom memory chip. Send the device back to the supplier for repair - its a hardware problem not a software problem.

BUT IF ITS A hardware fault how was i able to flash it to the newer version ? 2.21 ?
Is there any thing else i can do to the phone ? to make it ? LIKE THE IMEI OR SOME KIND OF LOCK ?

The rom will flash but stll fails to boot - there have been other posts with exact same problem and that was the reply by summiter or faria if I remember right. (Both v experienced at flashing and putting together roms) Do a srearch - failed format will prob find those posts.

As explained here i screwed up my device by following instructions for Trinity.
Is there any way to overwrite the ROM sections corrupted by original ones with MTTY ?
Any way to modify or bypass "RUUGetInfo.exe" ?
Any way to force the ROM update an ignore the "MODEL ID"check ?

need to activate g1 germany

i just bought a second hand germany g1. i reseted it to find out that im stuck with activation screen.
i tried to downgrade the g1 with rc29 & rc7 but none of the file worked; i always get the "NOT ALLOWED 0002800" message
there's no t-mobile provider in my country.
plz provide me with "rc29 germany IMG" to downgarde the phone then use "adb" trick or somthing else useful

Sounds like you have a continental g1 which will have a different procedure to root. There's the one click method and there is also this guide
