I believe this qtek 1010 is the same than the xda our t-mobile. So Í'd like to know if the xdamanipulator will work in my qtek 1010.

Yes, the manipulator works on the Qtek 1010, with all known versions of the Radio software. All you need is a serial cable and the ability to carefully read instructions...

Many of the people on this forum have upgraded using a variety of cooked or not cooked ROMS from various sources......most with excellent results....but some with significant problems / difficulties.
If you are not as brave as that (like me) I would suggest requesting the latest ROM from the QTEK Supplier in your country. I was able to get mine direct from QTEK in Switzerland...www.qtek.ch without problem.

At the time I was living in Switzerland and could not find anyone in Europe who does the upgrade so I sent it to pocketpctechs.com in USA. They have an excellent reputation and a fairly quick turn around if you are happy to pay for the express courier.

it didn't solve my problem, but the ROM upgrade worked out seemlesly
My problem is that i can't make phone calls anhymore due to no sound true de mic and the speakers, but that started in the 1.03.00 WWE version and is still there :evil:

i get country id error. did you get the same? i've seen posts about downloading anothe exe file, though some say they didn't need that file.. could it be that buymobiles.net's version is for germany. hence no countryid error.

I own a Qtek 2020i - UK Vodafone model. I am looking to upgrade to WM2005 and can only find info about the ROM for the 2020. Does anyone have the link for the 'i' edition of the WM2005 ?

Just to clarify - upon referring to an 'i' version I am meaning is there a version for the Qtek 2020i / Andes / xda2i or whatever other name it maybe know as depending on your manufacture.

There is no luck to try, there is no WM2005 for anything other than the HTC Typhoon smartphone, or HTC Himalaya PPC Phone.
If you try on any other devices, it will not work, simple.
Hi all.I have a qtek 9100 with wm 6.1 taurho ipl 1.01 and spl 1.05.
the phone work well,but i have a two problems:battery drain and the system that is very very slow..so i want to change rom and install wm5.
i doesn't know nothing to change rom or upgrade,because i have buy the phone already with wm6..
i premise that the phone is german and probably for use the italian sim and operator,the phone had to change national code(maybe.. )
So:how i find the rom and the guide to change the phone from wm6 to wm5?i need also the guide who teach me how change device nationality,because i can't use my italian sim.
