Hello all,
I wanted to get a HP 928 from a site called totalpda but they noted there that it's only for use on the Orange network.
I thought all HP 928s were unlocked. Anyway can anyone tell me if there is a program to unlock the device? Preferably one which is as easy to use as XDAunlock (you guys are still the greatest :wink: )

My XDA Orbit died while not-official unlocking attempt. Bootloader not responding. Is it possible to reanimate it?
Guess, it needs to replace the flash module (MS25-D10SD9-B3-P) with pre-programmed one, or just to reprogramm old one using test-points on motherboard (if it is possible). I can't find datasheet of MS25-D10SD9-B3-P and so can't answer what exactly should be done. May be anybody has another ideas (or diagnosis ). Thank you in Advance

Describe the issue or no-one will help. Is your unit g3/g4? Have you tried unlocking it and destroyed the security area? We can't help if you don't ask properly...

After upgrading the radio rom my IMEI has changed compared to what it says on the label that is in the back of the phone ....
the IMEI now is 00440000...... etc... and i would restore the original..
How can I fix?

My guess is that you're facing the "Data Crashes..." problem!
Meaning that whenever you insert your SIM card the phone shows that message and it stops working.
So 0044 looks like the radio lost the GSM settings and now is blank. In
that area are the gsm tuning parameters too.
Options:
1.Have a look here and try to get it back in life.
or
2.Send the device first to repair and then unlock it and enjoy.
