been hearing a lot of good things about sashimi, I'll have to try it out.
thanks. I'm tired of opening file explorer, navigating to the shashimi folder of the storage card, finding the sashimi.exe, and THEN running shashimi. I didn't like the storage card idea because I sometimes pull the storage card out for other reasons.
Thanks for the awesome work bengalih! Is there a more detailed manual? Particularly, I'm just not sure what goes in the ini file. I know there are videos, but just wondering if there is a written guide. I cant watch vids at work.

There are no video for SASHIMI compliance...all the information needed is in first post.
There are plenty of videos for SASHIMI itself, as well as detailed documentation included in the download.

Hi Folks,
hope you've a hint or idea for me on the above.
After getting more and more familiar with my SE X1 I feel in general quit ecomfortable with the MediaPanel as standrd ttol for my multimedia data. But what makes me really worrying is the obviousl missing ability to structure the videos and photos on my device, to have a better overview within the MediaPanel. Especially annoying is teh fact that for example in "photos" all found Images on my device are shown. Having Mobile Navigator installed, you can imagine that I'm seing now several hundereds of images from that applicaiton and it is quite hard to find the "real ones".
In "audio" I have at list the structure by artist, album, genre, etc. but even having photos in individual folders, doesn't help in the MediaPanel.
Any idea, advice or tweak for the MediaPanel, you're aware of, that would help me on this?

I have the same problem, in the photo's menu i see all icons and other images that i don't want to see.

not an IT newbie, but a newb to fiddling with winmobile phones.
I have the CeRegedit tool, and the BuildOS tool from PPCKitchen...
But what I'd like is if someone can point me to a step by step newbs guide to this stuff?
Basically, i want to keep all the sprint APPS (music, etc), get rid of anything that is crap (and you guys can surely advise on that eh?! ).
I want to add a few apps, like YouTubePlay, and maybe a keyboard that is more useable / iphone like? a more flexible Cube to which I can assign apps? (I mean, sprint App Store? A default for your quick access? Marketing dudes at work!)
But I want to Optimize... Ringtones, media, music, camera, app install, etc. default to the SD card, etc.
so, what tools do I need that I don't already have? What advice can you give? Step By Step??

I would not have asked if I'd not already don a **** ton of reading here, and on ppcgeeks... Damn...
no need for an attitude and if you have done a lot of reading you would know how to do just about anything as there are many tutorials on this site alone. the easiest way to fully customize your rom is with a kitchen. i gave you a link to the easiest one to use just follow the directions.
Hi I guess wile I was transfering videos and music files from my pc to my sd card I accidentally deleted the Transformer movies from my sd card. Can anyone let me know if its possible to get this movies back in my ph. or any suggestions I would appreciated Thank you....

i have the movies.. and i'm willing to help someone out under two conditions...
1. they step by step write me a how to make the mp4 files smaller.. so that i can somehow send the movies to them.. 1gb each is just waaay to big...
2. i put the movies on my comp and took it out of the sd card.. to save space... but i realize that i'm not even gonna use up all that space.. so i rather have those high quality movies on my phone.. HOW DO I GET THE SHORTCUTS WORKING AGAIN? i have the movies on the sd card.. but i don't know what i'm supposed to do so that when i click the transformers link on my phone.. it automatically brings it up... any suggestions??

I need help. on my HD2 i save pictures and they are not in my album. i have no idea where it saves to. please help,
if the camera is set to save files in your storage card, then you will find them in "\Storage Card\DCIM\100MEDIA".
you can set that folder as your "favorite" album, and while you're at it, you can move all your existing pictures and videos into the above mentioned folder so that you don't have to go about "finding" stuff again.

Also, i did a bit of research on this and it looks like other people are having the same problem. I found a forum that was posted a few months with a person who actually figured out how to save them . Here is the link to that forum.--

i really like the idea of Snap'N'Go but it is very slow when copying a file. And it does not recognize folders.
It would be really awesome if someone would develop a app like Snap'N'Go which includes the following features....
1. copying of all filetypes by making a picture of it...
2. copying of folders and subfolders by making a picture of it...
3. it should be faster than Snap'N'Go but point 2 is more important...
4. it would be awesome to take a picture of one file and the other and he put them in a download list and complete 'em...
If you like this idea but can not work on this please reply so that the devs see that many people would like it and buy...
