I have Samsung S4 I9500. Last month I flashed it with Russian version lollipop 5.0.1 but could install GAPPS. Then original version of Lollipop 5.0.1. I downloaded it from Sammobile.com. But now when I extracted the Zip file i downloaded then added it in AP in Odin 3.09 and hit on start, but its getting failed. Please advise. I am struck now, please help

I have a Galaxy S5 SM-G900H, with TMC CSC (G900HXXU1ANG3), but now i want to flash the lastest firmware to jump to Lollipop, but Odin failed after "Hidden' with the following message:
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
I tried to flash another 4.4.2 other than TMC CSC, but the same message.
Can i understand, that we can't flash a firmware that is not for the original region of the S5?

of course u can flash any firmware.... just download firmware from sammobile and flash it via odin 3.10,,, there are lots of threads with picture guidess
Friend tried to root his phone but apparently didnt install the right .tar while using ODIN. Downloads used:
Odin3 v3.10.6
Twrp-klte for Odin
CF-AUTO-ROOT-Kltemetropcs-kltemetropcs-sm-g900t1
I am trying to find out what are the specs to figure out what would be the proper firmware and tmb. It was 5.1.1 Quick question, would it be possible to download a firmware that is 4.2.2 and then update?
