Friend tried to root his phone but apparently didnt install the right .tar while using ODIN. Downloads used:

I am trying to find out what are the specs to figure out what would be the proper firmware and tmb. It was 5.1.1 Quick question, would it be possible to download a firmware that is 4.2.2 and then update?

I have Samsung S4 I9500. Last month I flashed it with Russian version lollipop 5.0.1 but could install GAPPS. Then original version of Lollipop 5.0.1. I downloaded it from Sammobile.com. But now when I extracted the Zip file i downloaded then added it in AP in Odin 3.09 and hit on start, but its getting failed. Please advise. I am struck now, please help
I updated to Kazakhistan Lolipop through ODIN. Downloaded the firmware from SamMobile.
Since I had checked and wanted to downgrade to stock firmware so that I can receive the Indian version update, I downloaded the firmware for India from SamMobile. The process was simple and without problem. But reboot is stuck at Samsung Logo.
I think its the problem of updated bootloader which is not getting downgraded. I Suppose.
I couldnt find the stock KitKat recovery for Indian Samsung Galaxy s5.

I upgraded my android from 4.4.2 to 5.0.1 and im not satisfied with the performance in lollipop so i decided to downgrade it to kitkat. Can use all of the files that was given in the tutorial i have i9505 s4 openline im using odin and i have both firmwares i tried to repeat the step that i just place my firmware file to AP but i got stucked at samsung logo so i just placed the lollipop firmware. Can i use all of the tutorial for s4 and just use the firmware that i have instead of the given firmware at the tutorial?
