I have installed project elixir from the official website. Everything is okay except wifi. It keeps getting no internet message after a while. Any fix?
I have a problem with the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 phone, which is the phone, although it is next to the Wi-Fi device, but the signal in it is weak. I tried almobrmeg to find a solution for it, but to no avail. Is there any solution to this problem?

I received my Nexus6P couple of days ago and let it install the latest Marshmallow update that was available through OTA at that time (MTC20L). Now since the OTAs are officially available for the Nexus6p (https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/ota) I sideloaded the Nougat NRD90U build. Since then connection to WIfi is practically not possible. Also survey just sometimes doesnt even show the wifi spots. It SOMETIMES automatically connects.
I tryed:
* tested at several locations with several Routers (2.4Ghz +5 Ghz) all of which worked without a problem on Marshmallow and my old Nexus5
* factory reset
* deleting all saved wlans
* manually forgetting the network
* pretty much tryed every naive debbuing found on sites like this: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...roubleshooting-wi-fi-connection-problems.html
* same bug with the previous nougat build (that wasnt official, I think NRD90R or NRD90S cant remember)
The strange thing is that I cant really find reports for nougat and Wifi problems on the net. So the question, does anybody else has these issues and by chance a fix?
Something went wrong when you have make the sideload
I made an update from dp5 and have no issues like this.
What don't you try to flash everything one by one to see what happen? Radio, system etc.

You must have very poor searching skills. A simple search for 'nougat wifi problem' (without ' ' ) will get you several results.
However, no real solution so far, but Google is aware and a case issue (221056) has been opened on code.google.com/p/android/issues. Unfortunately, it's been more than 2 weeks and Google hasn't come up with a a solution.
I'm experiencing the same problem with my Nexus 5X after an OTA update to Nougat. Resetting network settings seems to solve the problem, that is, until I manually start adding/saving wireless networks. When I hit 12, I loose all visible networks and WiFi keeps scanning (and draining battery) for networks if I turn WiFi off and on. If I let is scan for an hour or so, a connection is established, but when I turn WiFi off and on again the problem starts over.
Some people think it has something to do with 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, because they can't access 5GHz. Google has advised resetting to factory settings, but that doesn't seem to solve the problem for everyone.
Hi,
I just received the Oreo update for my S8 and everything seemed fine from the start. It didnt take long though when
I noticed that the WiFi was acting weird. Even though I had great connection to my modem, my WiFi performance
was extremely poor. The two arrows beside the WiFi logo in the status bar only showed upload and no download when I
tried to open a website. I tried forgeting the network but it only seemed to work momentarily. So I rebooted my modem and
hoped that it would solve the problem. Rebooting the modem only worked momentarily too. I will be checking later if this issue
continues with other WiFi networks.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Same problem with My S8 after Oreo. Occasionally the !-mark next to wifi-symbol and the connecton is lost. By restarting the wifi-router or renewing the wifi connection from the phone fixes this for some time, until it happens again.
This fixed it for me
Mine was doing the same but noticed I could stay connected to a older router I use as an extender so changed my wifi security on my main router from wpa2-aes to the older wpa and it's been fine ever since stays connected on 2.4 and 5 now
Is there a fix for this yet? I just downloaded the newest update they rolled out today, 4/3/2018 and I still cannot send email if I am connected to my wifi. It tells me "couldn't send" and it sits there until I turn off my wifi and use my data. This is ridiculous. My wifi connection is fine. I should not have to turn off wifi every time I want to send an email. So frustrated. Why roll out another update so quickly if not to fix the issues the March update caused????
I am also a an S8 user and noticed my wifi dropping connections throughout the day and reconnecting. This has occurred ever since Oreo update. I have tried all the possible fixes and none of them seem to work. I have sent my phone to Samsung for a repair and they have useless approved centres that lie about fixing the phone. I have sent it back. Lets see what happens. Worst case scenario I will have to install Nougat as it was working fine on this version.
Same here ! =(
Same problem
Sporadic exclamation mark on the WiFi icon
and poor performance .
Opened another thread on too many open ports.
Used sockstat and too many ports are listening.
Me too
(ROM France : XEF)
Did you guys notice this after the Oreo update or on Nougat as well?
I’m having this problem since the Oreo update too. I have to turn the WiFi off and on several times a day to fix it. When attempting to use WiFi, no pages etc will load and then eventually a ! Symbol appears next to the WiFi icon. Only fix is to turn WiFi on and off. It’s very annoying!
Exact same issue. Started occurring right after oreo update
Have you guys complained to Samsung about this? as making noise to them will rectify your faults eventually.
Same here, WiFi unreliable since Oreo. I need to restart the network to make a WiFi call and that isn't always a reliable fix. I started a chat with T-Mob on FB and gave up. They're clueless. Samsung S8+
Hello same issu, I'm from France an online the forum in France an Germany many people have this problem.
I read somewhere to delete the wireless connection from your device and then re-add. I'm not ready to say it fixed things but the WiFi does seem more stable.
UPDATE - Sorry to say there are still issues. Oh well, it gave me hope for a brief moment!
Go to settings- General management- Reset- Reset network settings- Then confirm and restart the phone. After re add your wifi networks. That fixed it for me
Update: It turned out that it didn't work for me... it looks like i may have to try and factory reset as it feels like i have tried everything else :crying:

T-Mobile just had be clear the cache from the "boot level" menus. Let me see if that fixes anything before trying yet something further. THANKS!
PS - clearing the cache did fix the problem I was having with the TX Lottery app. After the OREO update it would no longer scan the ticket barcodes. It's working again!

Thanks. Let me test a few days.
For me don't work ?
Same for me!!
I have my P8 Lite (2015) updated with original B634, only with bootloade unlocked.
The mobile phone is guaranteed by Huawei until 10/22/2019 (marketing bid in October 2017).
However, in recent days, I'm having difficulties in the speed of wifi (does not exceed 10k / s) when I have the bluetooth activated (for example when I arrive at my house and came with mobile phone connected to the bluetooth of the car).
If I turn off the bluetooth the speed of the wifi normalizes immediately!
Is it a software problem and a reset resolves or will it be a hardware problem to be solved under warranty?
Thank you for your opinion.
Has anyone had this problem?
I have the same problem in 2 phones... I think is hardware problem and is not fixable!
Hello Marcosoft, I have the same problem with wifi when BT is turned on. I've two Huawei P8 Lite ALE21 (2016) and they both have the exact same problem.
I first noticed this issue in December 2017. I’ve tried all kinds of resets but none of them solves this problem.
I’ve send one phone to the service centre for repair , it came back with a new mother board but still the same issue. Send it for the second time to the repair centre , again a board swap , still the same problem. Send it for the third time , today I got it back without a repair , they can’t find any issue , but the issue is still there.
So , at this point I can’t tell you if this is a hardware or a software problem. The only thing I know is that I don’t find a solution for it.

Amazing!!!
I taught that this was a hardware problem, because I had already tested the latest versions of the stock rom (6.0) and all had this problem of wifi speed with bluetooth on (<10k/s or B/s)!
I decided to go back to lollipop!
- ALE-L21_C900B500_Firmware_general_Android5.0_EMUI 3.1_Portuguese
After...
- Huawei_P8 Lite_Dual_Firmware_ALE-L21_Android 5.0_EMUI 3.1_C432B204_West European_Channel-Others
And to my amazement the wifi works at 100% with the bluetooth turned on!!!
Not a hardware problem!
I am 24 hours and without any problem and I have already done several tests!
Tomorrow, I will do the update that is recommend (ALE-L21C432B574 - Android 6.0) and then report here if the problem returns!

I'm really curious about the tests that you will run.
I'm using a costum ROM using android 7.1.2 and I also have the problem .... It is really bad to rollback to android 5 to fix this problem.
Is Huawei aware of this problem on the 6.0 versions?
Deleted.
NEW SOLUTION!
I found the reason for the Wi-Fi problem too slow (or stopping) when Bluetooth is turned on!
The problem is "Your location" from Google Play Services!!!
Until version 11.6.73 (14-09-2017) there is no problem, but from that version, more precisely 11.7.41 (05-10-2017), until today (12.8.74), and in the next versions (13.2 .77 beta), the problem persists.
Will Google solve the problem?
I do not know.
But to solve the problem I found this solution:
Disable GPS-Then go to Settings-Apps-Google Play services-Permissions-Your Location-Location Settings-Disable Access to my location.
From there, you may already have Bluetooth enabled and Wi-Fi will work properly.
However, if you also activate GPS (wf + bt + gps), the Wi-Fi will be very slow again, until you deactivate the GPS again.
It seems that some equipment does not have this problem! If so, good for them, but for those who have this problem, the real reason is already found, and until they solve it (if they solve), we have this solution.
I'm grateful that you also report this error to Google, to see if they fix it.
It does improve the performance just a little, I have a Huaweii Y6 II and when I'm watching a video on youtube, the video is still buffering, but before that solution you just give me, it wouldn't load at all.
Hello everyone. I have a samsung galaxy s7 edge (SM G935F) and i recently received the android 8.0.0 from samsung. Downloaded and installed directly via the cellphone.
But after updating i am getting this internet/connection drop issues a lot.
Now a lot of times when im connected in wifi or using the 4g mobile internet, im getting a lot of internet lag/drops. Example: at whatsapp, when i sens a message, the clock appears and only after a little rhe time the message is send.
Example 2: at facebook, somerimes it lags and takes too long to load the content (same happening in instagram). Or at clash of clans, it is showing that symbol of internet issue.
Besides those internet bugs/lags, the android 8.0.0 is ok.
I already did a factory reset yesterday via the phone, and saved the files with smart switch. But the problem persists. I also checked and my wifi internet and my mobile internet are ok.
Does anyone knows how to fix this issue? Is there a newer version of the ROM, maybe? Or if not, is ir possible to downgrade to android 7 again (really wouldnt like this option but....)?
If anyone could help that would be great. But for the record:im really newbie at android stuffs....if you can help, please could you explain step by step?
Thanks everyone
Another bug i am noticing: besides the internet crash/drop (wifi and 4g), i've noticed that it is taking too long to charge (around 3h...3:30h), even with fast charge.
Does anyone knows how to fix those bugs, or anyone is having those issues ?
Can i flash again the BTU ROM of android 8.0 from UK, with CSC from android 7.x from Brazil (ZTO)??? I mean, is it compatible?
thanks

Hi,
My S7e has just upgraded to 8.0.0 and is now having the same wifi lag issue. Did you manage to find a fix?
Thanks
Ady
I'm also noticing the same issue with my S7E. I'm on XEU.
Has anyone got the same issues with BTU as I'm considering swapping over?

I fixed the issue on my device. The problem was having power saving mode enabled, I use to run it all the time on nougat and never had an issue. Yet I turned it off and now there's no connection lag what so ever.
I was having the same issue with btu xeu even custom. On Oreo my wifi switch went totally gray and screen pattern unlock would also take 20-25 sec to unlock but then I flashed this kernel and everything works like a charm.

Hi everyone. I'm on Pixel Experience CAF. Sometimes 4g network is very slow and I need to wait a lot in order to load a web page or when i try to install an app from play store it download ~100kb/sec. Other times it is very fast (100kb/s Vs ~6mb/s). I flashed latest firmware (June). I mention have this problem since upgraded to Android Pie (9.0). With Oreo everything was working fine.
I have another issue with WiFi. I have a Xiaomi Mi Band 3 so I need bluetooth enabled. I noticed that when BT is active WiFi is very slow. Instead, it is very fast when BT is disabled. Is there a solution for this problem? P.S. I don't know if this issue was even in Oreo.
