turn off your device, reboot into recovery with volume up + volume down + power button.
again you'll see a pink screen, connect your phone to computer while the screen is pink and you'll see a storage device in my computer.
it'll contain just the one folder "image", copy and replace the file named boot.img with the file in this link
/?d=M4N45AGZ (include megaupload url ahead as i havnt posted enough to post a complete url)
switch off
follow the same procedure this time to replace recovery.img with the file in the link

Hey guys now I will tell you how you can change the boot animation for your device
This is the new method and it will work for all rooted devices
So first you have to root your device
Then download any file manager which supports root manager
Then go to root manager
Slide down and select on 'system'
Then again slide down and select on 'media'
Then you will find the bootanimation.zip
File
So as per your choice download any boot animation then copy that file to here
Then paste it here
And rename it into bootanimation.zip
And rename the previous boot animation to anything else
Then click on the new boot animation and then click on permission
Then do select on all 3 'R'
And select the first 'W'
'RWRR'
THEN REBOOT YOUR DEVICE AND SEE THE CHANGE AND ENJOY THE NEW BOOT ANIMATION
PLEASE GIVE THIS A THUMBS UP
THANKS
Dude, this is Windows Mobile section. Keyword here is "Windows" - not "Android"
Hello,
my head unit called UOS01N4PX5S with Android 8.1 and without rooting:
I changed the boot animation with "Total Comander"
In the root directory there is a folder called "Systemhauptverzeichnis" or "File system root"
It will not replace files but only added
Follow the path "File system root\sttdata\dynamics\dynamicslogo
In the png folder are the thumbnails
In the zip folder are the Animations Archive (zip)
The preview and the zip must have the same name
The preview has a resolution of 174x101 pixel
After inserting the files you can now select your animation in the settings
Animations and their structure can be found here in the forum
If you want to change boot logo with your picture , Here is the trick which worked for my galaxy j7.
Requirements.
1. Boot logo zip file (you can find a boot logo file on this site) for your model
2. Win rar windows
How to do
1. First diwnload the zip file on your PC.
2. Change your jpg file opening default to paint.
3. Now open zip file in winrar
4. open the jpg file it will open in the paint
5. Now in upper left corner there is paste option select your picture from paste from make sure corners meet with the origional.
Now save
After that win rar ask you for modification say yes
All done now run zip in twrp recovery.
Note: This requires a usb stick
step - 1: plug in the usb stick now go to car setting --> factory setting enter the pin 16176699 (for allwinner T5) can vary search on google.
step - 2: In factory setting click on export to usb/export setting
step - 3: Use a file explorer copy the bootanimation from usb stick to somewhere safe so that in case something goes wrong you can restore it later
step - 4: Now copy the bootanimation.zip that you want and paste it into the usb you would be asked if you want to replace it click yes [this needs bootanimation.zip not flashable zips]
its best to try and create a boot animation if possible since the resolution of the head unit varies [my Allwinner T5 has needs an animation of 1024x600 for best quality]
if that's not possible i recommend 720p/1080p animations beyond that can cause issues
if you want to check if you have bootanimation.zip or flashable file just check if the inside of archive have folders like part0,part1 etc and a desc.txt, if yes then its bootanimation.zip else flashable
if you have downloaded flashable bootanimation extract it in the extracted folder go to system --> media --> bootanimation.zip and copy it
step - 5 (optional): If you want you can also replace the boot logo/splash screen for this like before copy the original boot_logo.bmp to somewhere safe then replace it with the new boot_logo.bmp [its best to use image that has same resolution as the original]
You can download any image change its resolution to resolution of the bootlogo then convert it to bmp this way you can create a boot_logo.bmp or download it from google
step - 6: Again go to factory setting enter pin, then click on import from usb/import file then hit save, the headunit should restart and you should see the new animation/splash screen should be visible now!
