Hi,
1st time posting to the forum. I have recently installed Junsun V1 Pro 4GB+64GB in a Mazda 2
https://www.aliexpress.com/i/4000214865985.html
Unfortunately it is not working as expected and wondered if anyone else had had similar problems.
1. I can connect to a wireless network but cannot browse the internet. (Loading google.com take 5 mins for 1/2 a page (like worse than dial up speeds on a 500mb wireless network).
2. Bluetooth is connected to my phone however I am unable to play music (it is just garbled / intermittent. (Radio / Playing music from a usb stick works fine).
3. Before of 1 and 2 and I am unable to get CarPlay to work (which is why I bought the unit).
The only wire I haven't installed is the 4G Antenna (As I don't have any use for 4G In the device).
Original the device wouldn't save settings (the time manually set would be lost etc) so I have updated the MCU which has now resolved that.
I have attached Photos.
I have changed the BT Mode and set the name etc but this has made no difference.
Any help would be appreciated as currently waiting for Junsun to reply (been two days now)

Did you connect the camera connector with a yellow RCA plug, two small blue wires, and a long pink one? These are antennas for the Bluetooth and WiFi; I hadn't installed them when I first dry fitted the unit and noticed poor Wi-Fi reception.
Picture in this post for reference.

Hello!
I have a very strange problem with my android radio in my 508. When I'm trying to connect it with delivered canbus decoder, it's simply not powering on. I tried various combinations with power supply to the unit but without positive result yet. The only way that turns my radio on is bypassing power supply of canbus box and conecting it directly to power in on the unit. I thought that maybe canbus decoder is defective, so I returned it to supplier and received new one...still no success. I have red many manuals and forums but I cannot find the answer how to power on the unit with canbus decoder. I really need it to be connected because I need steering wheel buttons and readings from car computer (like AC, fuel consumption etc.). I know that to maintain it, power supply must be connected to canbus decoder, which triggers signal to power on the unit. Somehow it just doesn't work. I measured voltage on power harness, there is a good reading. I have also readings on canL and canH line. Everything is good on input side to canbus, on output I have zero...just like canbus is not working.
My radio is 1din android 8 unit equipped with canbus decoder:
decoder: MH (PA-SS-05)20180402
SS-PA0503271018-2
For: Peugeot 2008
P/N 1801300412
Software: PSA V2.27 005BYPS
Unit: MCU version: MTCE_MX2_V2.83_1

Please guys help me out because I am fighting with this chinese **** almost 2 weeks now
Hi,
I know it's a long time since your post, but I just installed an Android Head unit in my Peugeot 508 with JBL Sound, and the decoder I received was one for Peugeot 407, maybe that's why it's not working?
Also I cannot see your photos, they are most likely not online anymore.

Hi
Did you find a solution for this issue.
Best regards
Eq5545
I've been running around in circles for a few days now trying to install DVB-T television in my Range Rover. I have tried two different approaches and both have issues. According to the documentation which came with the stereo, the model number is JBY-xxxx and made by the Shenzen ECT Technology Company and the head unit is supposedly running Android 10.1
My first issue was connecting a DVB-T receiver box to the Aux audio and video inputs on the rear of the unit. When i switch to Aux input designed for TV and DVD units, the video works fine but there is no sound. After a couple of days looking for information, i came across a post where someone else had exactly the same issue and was told that the head unit no longer supported audio in on the Aux after Android 9.0, mine is 10.1.
So, i decided to add digital TV another way by using a DVB-T USB dongle and hit more snags. I tried numerous apps dowloaded from Play Store and none of them would work. One app called AerialTV which seemed to have the best rating and feedback came in two parts, the driver and the TV app itself. When i plug the TV stick in, the driver recognises the TV stick and confirms the drivers are now loaded, but when i run the TV app itself and do a station search, i get the message no stations found, check the aerial.
Now, the first receiver box picks up 91 TV stations and as many radio stations. I have verified there is audio coming out with a scope. I have also fed audio into the aux sockets from an MP3 player and no audio. The TV stick, in fact 3 different models all work fine plugged into the car TV antenna, which suggests again the head unit.
I've posted a pic of the stereo in case someone recognises the exact model.
I'm wondering if there is a different version of Android that would work here prior to Android 9.0 if thats the issue.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Can anyone point our where WIFI antenna is (is it integrated with 4G cellular?) and where internal SIMM card (not the one on a cable) could be?
I thought WiFi was integrated with the 4G antenna, too.
Turns out the two stubby (in my case, white) wires poking out of the RCA backup camera harness are external WiFi and Bluetooth antennas. Go figure.
Forgive my ignorance - Topway is the manufacturer and they all run the same firmware?

According to the manual I have, the antennas are actually what Patman27 is saying - "two stubby (in my case, white) wires poking out of the RCA backup camera harness are external WiFi and Bluetooth antennas".
Here is how this looks in in my manual.
I was wondering if there is a way to improve the abovementioned antennas?

I believe so. Topway makes the MCU, and wrote & supports the "factory" ROM with the magic Bluetooth, Radio, etc. apps that play nice with it. It may then be up to the reseller to configure which features are turned on or off on the unit.
That's the impression I have from scouring XDA forums.

Maybe? I'm not versed in WiFi antenna design, so I don't think it's as simple as soldering on an arbitrarily long wire.
If you find something will you share it here? I'm curious, myself.
To add antenna it should be as easy as adding pigtail with RP-SMA or SMA (depending on the antenna you want to attach) to the connector (not the current 'antenna' wire). Problem is that there will be signal leakage at the connector since it's not shielded and some of the power will be lost due to impedance mismatch. Connect to both, ground and wifi signal of course. Without being able to limit transmit power this modification can cause a lot of unwanted interference - so figuring how to control tx power should be the first step, IMO.
On different topic, all touch controls (including side 'buttons' and screen) on my radio stopped responding recently, but returned after pressing reset through reset hole - has anyone experienced that? Steering wheel buttons were working and I could control the apps (that seemed to work fine) through them. I wonder how to troubleshoot this w/o touch access?
Hi, I had to restore the factory settings, after that all the applications on navigation are gone. I can't even install anything because the play store app is gone too. What now? How should I install play store app now ?
Hi everyone,
I have Android 11 Head Unit (HU) from Seicane in my Ford Fusion 2012. The MCU version is MTCH_HF_V3.78_1 based on RK3566 chip:

I was provided CAN bus decoder FD-SS-02 from Simple Soft:
However, I have realized that HU has direct CAN pins on Power Supply Port (PSP) - pins 11 and 12 on attached sketch map:
But - they are on connected - just dangling out of connector. So my question is - Does anyone know what are they for? Maybe there is a way to communicate with a CAN bus directly from HU using some kind of app?
In addition I want to add, that this HU has no serial or other type of interface with CAN bus decoder. Only preselected signals from box to HU are available. The pinout from decoder is as follow (only 8 pins connected)
1) IN - GND
2) IN - MS CAN+ (from harness)(multimedia/middle speed Ford CAN)
3) OUT - ILLUMI (PSP pin 1) (not working - always +12V causing constant nigh mode)
4) OUT - break detection (PSP pin 14) (not working - always +12V causing that none function is blocked for safety while driving)
5-8) NC
9) IN - BAT+12V (always hot)
10) IN - MS CAN- (from harness)
11) OUT - ACC (PSP pin 6) (Accessory - turns on/off the radio based on ignition key position)
12) OUT - reverse detect (PSP pin 13) (normally +12V, when gear on reverse 0V and video from reverse camera starts streaming)
The illumination and break detection functions are not working. So my side question is that maybe someone know which model of this Chinese can boxes fits Ford Fusions 2012?
Thank you for taking part in discussion!
Hello! I just recently installed this headunit on my bmw, I have browsed this forum for a few hours just trying to figure out more information on it, I have found myself in a never ending loop, The roms, mcu's, etc. I am utterly lost on trying to figure out more. It works great! and I love it so far, I managed to update the MCU Version the other day, not sure if that is able to tell anyone anything either, The one I had installed was: "Ksw-Q-Userdebug_OS_v3.6.5-ota" I at least think that is an MCU version, regardless I had installed it and it worked well, updated ZLINK and also seemed to help the bluetooth a good bit, I'm now able to connect effortlessly, and immediately launches Carplay and its near flawless minus the slight 1-2 Second lag (As expected for bluetooth) I am curious to see what all you guys can talk me through so I can either better understand my headunit or even show me. Id love to learn about a few roms people have been using and what exactly the benefits are to the one I am using, A popular thing brought up is "Rooting" What benefits would rooting my headunit bring? If there is any. And also I am having issues trying to connect bluetooth to my obd reader, I am able to actively pair it (Enter the pincode) and after that, it refuses to connect regardless how many times I press connect, it seems to just not do anything, I am attempting to use it to monitor AFR, Boost, EGT's Oil pressure/Temp, etc through bm3 I had even went and bought a enet to usb adapter and tried plugging it into my headunit obd port but alas, It was not working regardless, It isn't able to read vehicle vin information etc. Absolutely ANY information regarding my system either capabilities, Roms I should try, what exactly an MCU is, etc is appreciated. Below I have attached my Unit link on amazon, aswell as system information. Thank you! Zack

Not MTCD, requested moderator move to (Android head-units) forum.
Op try searching forums with MCU suffix and using punctuation, and new lines.
This headunit looks to be an oddball. Good luck.
